skinny girls may hate their body but they don’t gotta deal with everyone else hating their bodies too and encouraging them to hate their bodies

this wasn’t meant to get this many notes and now I’m annoyed @ the responses that are totally missing the point I’m not talking about individuals who told you to eat a burger I’m talking about society as a whole that encourages fat women to hate our bodies and rewards us for engaging in disordered behaviors to lose weight everyday I see ads about losing weight and getting skinny, I never see ads telling women to gain weight skinny women’s body positive posts are praised but when a fat woman makes a body positive post were told that we are unhealthy and “glorifying obesity” there are obvious differences between the experiences of skinny women vs the experiences of fat women I’m not saying that skinny women don’t have problems or that no one ever bullied you I’m saying that our culture as a whole doesn’t encourage you and other people to hate your body and even see you as less of a human simply because you’re skinny

ok i might not have been directly in the arms of vinny the chin himself now that i think about it but basically what happened is that my mom had been following his trials when it was going on back in the late 90′s and like. she was on this flight that also fuckin happened to be transporting this mob boss to his next trial so like there were a bunch of mafia people on this plane with him and my mother was like “holy shit, it’s vinny the chin” and she literally started?? talking to these mafia guys. and she had to run to the bathroom and for some reason was like “can you watch my kid for me for a second” so my mom left me with the mafia. and she kind of? didn’t think about it? and realized fully what she had done as she was washing her hands so she like runs back out and i was fine. they were playing with me and i was laughing. i think it made the news. anyway that’s the story of how baby me enamored a bunch of mobsters

did i ever tell ppl about the time me and my family thought my older brother was gay and dating his best friend? they used to hold hands and cuddle and shit all the time and cause my brothers super quiet we kinda just thought that was him coming out and didn’t really say anything about it. this went on for maybe two yrs and then one day he arrives home with this girl and is all ‘id like you guys to meet my girlfriend’. at this point everyone is ’????’ and my mom is literally crying and like ‘u broke up with James?!?!?!’ and honestly I’ve never seen a man more confused in his life and yeah that’s the time my family fucked up for like 2 yrs
