I’ve been trying my luck around doing more digital colors, never catching quite the thing I was aiming for and always getting somewhere near somewhat by luck. So I do what I do best, what I’ve been doing since I was a kid: I steal some sh*t, and try to figure out how they did it. This was done after seeing a gorgeous illustration from Kamome Shirahama (who I kinda love/hate for the moment) I urge you to follow her works! Enough talks, see you next time!

Jeezus guys coloring is super hard, I’m getting lost between several overlay layers, I dunno what to choose or how to get where I want. Also getting stuck between 50% opacity versus 60%. Or what about 40% overlay versus 55% screen layer? Maybe I just need to start over with a different color, or just a slightly darker blue. Space Oddities.

So yeah, I know I don’t update here much often but the past few weeks have been complicated. Mostly because I think I got a job? Maybe? I’m not sure myself. Anyway it’s all about doing space-related illustrations which I’m all for, so here is a first try really. Let’s see where it goes from here.
