I do think Charlatan is the resident builder/mechanic of the killers. Most of them are hackers sure but they can’t really summon things (the specter had to turn that off). She’s known to be clever and knowledgeable on crafting things (“her own gadgets”) so it would make sense. Not many other killers are good at making stuff, only destroying it.
I could see her repairing Cataclysm or maybe the house in the lobby itself. It would make sense for it to be in complete disarray before she arrives so when she does she just, silently picks up that task and does it herself.
Azure might have the skills to build things (cult with low resources requiring everyone’s help) but I doubt he knows technical things like robotics. Maybe the other hackers know robotics but they don’t have the resources they know how to use. Charlatan is I think the perfect combination of both of these, not only does she know technical stuff she’s crafty and adaptable, knowing how to work around things in a pinch. In my interpretation, anyway.
