“I’m happy but I think that we need to establish a baseline of knowledge first. I’ve brought something along with me today,” Dick says, reaching into his bag. Jon swallows, waiting for him to produce either an escrima stick, knife or all of the above. Instead, what he pulls out is a small paperback. It’s got a cartoonish drawing of a boy and girl kissing on the front, the whole thing done in jarringly bright colors. “This is ‘Kylie’s First Kiss’.”

Jon realizes with the slow-motion that accompanies most horror films that it is a picture book for kissing. There are drawings. There are diagrams, detailing the anatomical structure of the human mouth because somehow that’s prerequisite knowledge for making out.

Dick begins reading from the first page, unprompted.

Or: Jon is having the best week of his life after asking his best friend out. If only the members of his boyfriend’s (!!!) family would stop kidnapping him.

Yall remember that one Netflix movie “Miya and the three” where at the end(SOPILERS) she and the bat guy turn into the sun and moon and there’s a line like “and then we got to dance for eternity”.(END SPOILERS) Fire movie and I should rewatch it, but that’s not the point. I was trying to do something like that but gave up on drawing the houses.

“I can’t believe you own Superman-themed pajamas,” Damian says, eyeing him disdainfully. Jon rubs at the blue-and-red buttons and shrugs.

“Says the person wearing Gucci pajamas.” He gestures at his whole silk get-up, done in red-and-black pinstripes that are more fitting for a person five times their age. (Come to think of it, he’s pretty sure he saw Alfred wearing matching ones earlier.)

Damian smirks at him, raising one perfectly manicured eyebrow because he’s Damian fucking Wayne.

“It’s Yves Saint-Laurent actually,” he says because of course it is.

No, this can’t be happening. Illness befalls lesser mortals, such as Drake and Drake. (The fool doesn’t even have a spleen–a common cold could wipe him out! Damian wouldn’t be caught dead succumbing to such a weak plague.)

Damian has withstood worse. He has survived assassination attempts, he is immune to fifty different kinds of poison and he has survived the virus cesspool known as Gotham Academy. To borrow one of Todd’s phrases, he’s even “walked off death”. Surely, he cannot be falling prey to a simple cold.

While meeting up late at night after patrol, Jon accidentally triggers one of the Batcave security protocols, causing him and Damian to be trapped inside the armory together, Without the ability to override the protocol with the other Batsiblings on patrol, Jon and Damian are stuck in a confined space together - causing Jon to feel flustered and Damian to notice. *Super Sons Week: Reversed Robins/Trapped In A Confined Space

Mr. T was prepared for another extraterrestrial attack. He was prepared for a portal to Hell having been ripped open on 7th Ave, for a new magic super villain to have made half the city’s population disappear, hell, he’d been prepared for Darkseid’s fucking return, campaigning for destruction of the Earth with his massive planet of a ship again. What he was not prepared for was the woes of parenting.

There’s the sound of scuffling on the other end of the line.

“You’ve been such a great help over–”

Mr. T hangs up before Clark can reach the end of his sentence.
