okay this is actually hilarious to think about. i feel like in the early days they could've roped kon onto something in the vein of love island or a big brother if only he'd been a little older and by the time he IS older he's absolutely not wanting to perpetuate the stereotype of him as someone desirable - he had enough issues that stemmed from that. i think it would actually be so funny if he landed on one of those celebrity cooking shows, especially because he knows NOT MUCH about cooking. everything he knows he's learnt from ma kent which was great education but he's honestly not the type to cook much so we could get wild with him on like a celebrity bake off or something for charity.

either that or, similarly doing something like a celebrity version of the circle for charity i think could be fun cause he's such a loser he'd probably just pretend to be himself and stump everyone and have fun fake-catfishing. if he was going to do any reality tv appearances nowadays (we don't talk about his constant tv presence when he first showed up he blocks that out), it would be for charity.

right so thinking about petty things that one could argue over, and truly he didn't grow up in an environment where he really had those nit-picky things thrust upon him, so he hasn't got the habits of like 'you're doing x thing wrong' or what have you. he's not going to be the type to hyperfixate on things being a certain kind of clean or a certain way around the place, in fact he's more likely to be the one told things should be xyz and to be a little flippantly confused like ' ... okay ?? '

he WILL get into arguments over petty things on the fly if he can see a way to make someone laugh, or if it's going to annoy his closest friends. but it's usually things they've told him about that he puts back on them like not slamming doors or drinking out of the milk carton. he'll throw out a snarky little reminder and then a wink like a dork cause yes, see ?? he does remember things !

so this is like asking kon to pick a favourite ice cream flavour, practically impossible. i'll preface this by the fact that conner can SING, like he's got solid pipes on him, and while he was in hawaii between fighting evil and surfing and basketball, he taught himself how to play guitar and has been working on bass guitar. anyway, he's basically got a ton of choices but they're all 90s cause he's predictable. if he had to pick one to do, it'd absolutely be FLY AWAY by lenny kravitz - funky, great bassline, charismatic, great vocals.

some honourable mentions go to BASKET CASE by green day, BORN TO BE WILD by steppenwolf, anything by aaliyah if he's feeling a certain way (or wants to show off), and UNBREAK MY HEART by toni braxton. if he was in his feels, he'd break hearts with MORE THAN WORDS by extreme and NAME by goo goo dolls. kon is that infuriating person though that could probably take requests at karaoke, and rock most of them - and laugh through what he gets wrong and still kill it.

SARAH / @detectim - look there's a reason we're joined at the hip never to be parted, and part of it is because i'm being kept here against my will (h e l p m e) and part of it is that you're just such a DYNAMIC ASS WRITER and our brainwaves are always in sync. i know if i bring something to you that you'll be all in, and that's the way you are with anyone you write with. it's amazing to see your energy and positivity and humour on dash one second, and then to get gut punched by your prose the next. you're so fantastic at developing verses, they're always so creative and thoughtful and detailed and it's inspiring. you just have this joy and love for any of your lil blorbos and it's clear for everyone to see. conversations and threads with you are never boring, and you write in this way that weaves humour and the real and the fantasy of whatever you're looking at so seamlessly. also, your dialogue is some of my favourite to see cause there's such personality there, you're so good at knowing not just what a character would say but HOW they'd say it. a crash tackle hug and my heart for you!

FRANKIE / @imperiouslex - dude i am constantly amazed by you. there's a consistency and a true vision in your writing of lex that just astounds and amazes. villains aren't always easy to write because in my experience people tend to air on the more kosher sides of them but you're able to display the full range of every side and part of lex. to me your writing is indomitable and you aren't afraid of being TRUE to the character no matter how messy or mean that is, and we THANK YOU FOR IT. absolutely incredible worldbuilder, your knowledge and dedication is so inspiring to me, the amount of comics you've put me onto i swear. we've talked about your writing of dialogue before but you are really able to capture tone and inflection so well, just phenomenal really. i always stop to take a read of what you're doing cause i know it'll be a ride and a fun time. you've helped me explore sides of kon i wouldn't be able to without you, thank you for all the things you do. massive love.

JACKKNIFE / @hereticsinc - my sweet cheese, my good time boy - jack you absolute legend, the joy that bursts in my soul every time i see you on dash. your attention to detail is second to none, the sheer amount of effort you put into your character development is mindboggling, that big brain of yours puts in so much work and it truly makes for a magical reading experience. you aren't just writing characters you're writing a fully immersive experience, your writing has a way of gripping a person in and taking them on that journey of thought and reaction and motion, it's so wonderful. you have such a specific style of graphics, i know in an instant if it's you from the particular grungy vibe and tone of them, there's just a uniqueness about them that i admire. you have such immense creativity in you and being able to witness and be a part of your creative process is fuckin' awesome even when it hurts my heart because we both got a taste for suffering. you're honest with your characters and the reality of your characters and you don't shy away from the real and raw and difficult of them in a way that's just so instinctual and you let a character's inherent nature shine, unapologetically. i love you so much bro, big love - all the love.

JOSEPH / @exitlands - your writing makes me giddy man idk what to say, you just GOT IT, whatever it is that makes your writing so compelling. from the moment we first started cookin' up stuff together it's been so impressive to me how dedicated you are to your vision of these characters, and you're able to express it in a way that's so vivid and forthright and really sits in your gut. not only that but you're so nonchalantly brilliant that it's a little infuriating but in a way that i just wanna squeeze you like holy man. i literally go back and read our threads because you made me write better, you brought the thunder truly and it made me want to step up to the plate and just keep this game going strong, and i thank you so much for that. there's a rhythm and a cadence to your writing i find just so juicy, it makes not only for easy reading but GOOD reading. you know just how to emphasize the right things to really drive home whatever meaning you're after. i think you're enormously talented and so kind, all of my love to you.
