ASHTON CROSS, 25, (zoe boyd) — defenseman. not much to say about ash except everyone needs to hide their wives. absolute charmer. devoted diva. chicago born and raised, and you'll know it within five minutes of hearing her talk. lesbian and proud. notorious for calling the men out for their bullshit. loves to fight, doesn't discriminate between men or women.. she'll duke it out with anyone. knows a thing or two about a scandal, that's why she pays good money for a publicist. hungry for it, which is the reason she can never say no to endorsement offers.

JENNA KNIGHT, 25, (hannah fields) — goalie. the usual insane goalie trope. extremely outgoing and a certified loose cannon. joey's older sister and also incredibly protective of her batshit insane little brother. the golden child, despite being a fucking nightmare. is constantly being called about her social media posts. very vocal about men being fucking stupid. hates being called the "other" knight. she was here first, and she's better than her brother if you ask her. bisexual. insane. godspeed.

VIVIAN ALLARD, 26, (tate mcrae) — CEO, hockey wife. closested lesbian. owns her own clothing line/skincare line. viv came from literally nothing, and hopped around foster homes for the better half of her life. she met her husband in college and they got married after graduating. she went to school for business. married into generational wealth. very much rich girl vibes. has her own skincare line and clothing line that she is very very passionate about. always has her girls' backs no matter what. kind of miserable in her marriage but never really speaks about it for the sake of public opinion. goal oriented and quick to extend her honest kindness to everyone around her. known for her giggly personality and humorous personality.

AUGUST FRASIER, 28, (auston matthews) — center. egotistical. deep rooted familial trauma. no contact with his father. control issues. is it discipline, is it self torture? the world will never know. closeted bisexual. not that friendly. dry sense of humor and a lack of care for how he is perceived by the public. mostly likely to be caught in a scandal.

ELIAS ANDERSON, 30, (william nylander) — retired. sustained a career ending injury and won't shut the fuck up about it. dresses nice to hide the fact he's fucked up on the inside. nepo baby. drug habits. has been caught in a few scandals during the height of his career. the public will be hearing from him. a lot to say for someone who refuses to step foot in an arena without having a panic attack. very openly bisexual and never gave a fuck about what anyone had to say about it.

SKYLAR MAISON, 25, (shane pinto) — center. deeply insecure. ragebaiter. definitely has an adderall addiction and everybody knows it, but nobody talks about it. came from nothing, and now has everything. it's abundantly clear. raised by a single mother and two older sisters. closeted bisexual with a male lean. struggling with his sexuality. struggling with fame. unfortunately, too nice for his own good despite everything.

COOPER HANSEN, 27, (mitch marner) — right wing. sunshine embodied. works hard because there is no other option for him. desperate to be the best. hates to be seen. not a lot of barking done from him unless its on the ice. the least likely to be caught in a scandal. a kind soul that has endured enough to last him a lifetime. bisexual, and he's not talking about it. ruined perception of himself from the harsh hand of his father.

JOSEPH 'JOEY' KNIGHT, 21, (will smith, hockey, obvi) — center. full of rage and undisclosed body issues. hates his dad and wants him to choke. worked his ass off to get away from home, which is middle of nowhere indiana. shit talker and shit starter. leaves his messes for everyone else to deal with. too young to have an ego, but he's working on it. bites and barks and everything in between despite having the appearance of something more docile. bisexual, and no, he's also not fucking talking about it.

RIVER DAVIS, 29, (mat barzal) — center. three people know about river and the weird shit he gets up to in his free time. sharp shooter. annoyingly focused and probably too positive for his own good. attitude problem. a violent lack of patience. unusually pretentious, but he means well. has unintentionally gotten roped into scandals. usually the topic of discussion when it comes to petty drama. starts fights just to laugh and walk away. too pretty to be seen fighting. bisexual, and he'll only talk about it if he's drunk enough to feel confident about it.

HUDSON VANEK, 22, (luke hughes) — defenseman. oh, another one? deeply traumatized. was nonverbal up until he was 7. deeply troubled, but he means well. not that nice, but he's trying. has grit, but at what cost? struggles to make friends. gets pissed off at everyone within a five minute interaction. loudest person in the room to make up for the fact that he feels the most forgettable. obnoxious ego in the making. do not ask him about his sexuality, he will punch you. pansexual, because he doesn't really care.

LUCA CALLOWAY, 29, (vince dunn) — defenseman. oh god, here he fucking goes. self-proclaimed menace to society. lacks proper emotional regulation. D1 crashout. a diabolical fear of commitment. deep-rooted sexual trauma, and he thinks he might be better for it. skips every therapy appointment he possibly can. harbors a vicious taste for a blood. never hesitates to throw the first punch. will more than likely croak from cirrhosis of the liver. bisexual. godspeed!!!!!

WESLEY 'WES' GRANT, 38, (sidney crosby) — retired. hates everyone. sports journalist. never leaves his condo. annoyingly pretentious and violently calloused. an ego so big it fills the room before he even walks in. often gets in trouble for how honest he is, comes off like a blunt douchebag about 95% of the time. means well, and genuinely believes his honesty is what makes him a good person despite everyone else's belief. a known legend and D1 hater. bisexual.

CHANDLER RIZK, 22, (frank nazar) — winger. the kind of person who opts to fade into the background. has a secret instagram account where he posts all of his art. quiet and elusive but once you know him, he's a sweetheart. looks like a doberman but is truly a golden retriever. mama's boy. silver spoon, baby. kind of frat boy-esque in a sense that he morphs into another person whenever he drinks. big fan of pretending to be menacing. runs from confrontation and doesn't care to watch the aftermath. bisexual.

01. CHARACTER BACKGROUND.

Bragi is an mechanic hailing from the planet Ruwei, a small outer mining colony. A quiet, harsh and practical planet --- Bragi's father was an experienced miner who taught him all the skills he knows. In the wake of the Quiet Rapture, Bragi and his father were among the first to be picked up by the evacuation ships that arrived.

He joined the Consolidation of Iron early on, quickly making himself invaluable as the go-to author for writing technical manuals and how-to books by utilising his skills as a mechanic. He was also responsible for writing down a lot of the laws and practices that came into play as the C.O.I was beginning to form. Even further, he was briefly tasked with writing the history of the C.O.I as it happens; an attempt to document everything and preserve what's left of humanity.

If he wanted to, Bragi could have landed himself a very comfortable position among the higher ups of the C.O.I. But his distaste for bureaucracy and politics put him off progressing further, and with his father's health failing, he quickly realizes the importance of teaching and spreading knowledge to the rest of humanity. Knowledge and skill fade every year: Bragi wants to prevent this.

Bragi's works are focused on instructional manuals and books that teach technical know-how to even the most basic beginners. Of these, perhaps his most popular works are the "Iron Lung" manuals. Having brought onto the blood ocean project early on, Bragi had a hand in designing and creating the submarines.

There are five moons that the C.O.I have been studying. Bragi flits about from base to base, providing helpful knowledge and expertise, even acting as the repair-man when nobody on site can figure it out. Currently, as the C.O.I's main focus is the blood moon on AT-5, Bragi is living on base there, helping out when something goes technically wrong with the subs.

02. PERSONALITY.

Bragi is a fun-loving, flirtatious optimist. A golden retriever at heart with a penchant for collecting trinkets from before the Quiet Rapture, he can frequently be seen wearing tacky Hawaiian shirts over his uniform, arms decorated in colourful friendship bracelets, and goofy pin-badges adorning his clothes. He has a reputation as a pretty-boy -- rugged good looks and a charming smile. Some would say he's the perfect catch, but Bragi has only ever had eyes for one woman.

In addition to his general positivity, Brag is a family man: his father is old and in ill-health, and he cares about him deeply. They are in constant communication even though they're currently on different bases. Like his father in many ways, Bragi values safe practice and skilled labour. It's been noted that one of the only things to truly anger him is a disregard for safety, which includes redacting information from his manuals or sending people down in the Iron Lungs without the proper training.

It's important to note that, having played such a big part in helping the C.O.I get their start, Bragi is a relatively well known name among the members. He's made friends and enemies in high places, and his name is on the cover of every book, manual and leaflet he's ever written. Even now that he's working solely as a mechanic, he is constantly asked to write things up --- which he's more than happy to do, provided he actually agrees with what its saying. He prefers to stick to technical manuals than law or policy, because he has a big mouth and an inability to keep his opinions to himself.

03. HIS LONG LOST LOVER.

Bragi grew up on Ruwei with Lðunn ( @timidoassistente ), his childhood best friend. He's been in love with her for almost his whole life, and only found the courage to confess to her when they were just entering adulthood; by presenting her with two matching, handmade rings. Unfortunately, the Quiet Rapture happened soon after. While Bragi and his family were able to leave early, the evacuation ships didn't manage to get everyone. Though Bragi made every attempt to stall the ships for as long as possible, they eventually had to go --- leavine behind Lðunn and her family.

Here is a tl;dr version of my boy Willoughby. Also I don't really wanna hear anyone's take on my physical depiction of him.. this is my barbie dreamhouse and i do what i #want.

Willoughby Tucker was born in Shady Grove, Alabama, into a household dominated by the shadow of the Vietnam War. His father, a veteran grappling with severe PTSD and alcoholism, created a domestic environment defined by unpredictable violence. This upbringing instilled in Willoughby a profound fear of his own genetic legacy and a belief that he was inherently broken. To cope with the physical and emotional toll of his home life, he developed an early dependency on prescription pills and local narcotics, a habit he kept hidden from the prying eyes of his Southern Baptist community.

Relationship with Ethel Cain

Willoughby reconnected with Ethel Cain during their senior year of high school. Their bond was immediate and intense, fueled by a shared understanding of parental abuse. However, the relationship was built on a fundamental misalignment of perception. While Ethel viewed Willoughby as a stoic, masculine protector, he was privately struggling to maintain that facade. His drug use intensified during this period as he used substances to numb his anxiety and suppress the "mean" streak he feared he had inherited from his father.

The pressure of performing the role of the perfect Southern boyfriend while battling addiction eventually became unsustainable. Following a traumatic tornado that struck Shady Grove, a seasoned Willoughby realized that his codependency with Ethel was only anchoring them both to their shared trauma.

The Nebraska Years

In a desperate attempt to outrun his past, Willoughby vanished from Alabama and relocated to a remote part of Nebraska. He sought out the flat, desolate landscape to escape the "suffocating" trees and storms of the South. He found work as a mechanic, spending his days in a solitary garage, finding a temporary sense of control in the logic of engines and cold steel.
