So… I was originally planning to post this yesterday (October 21), but I got sidetracked, so… shut up.

the wide eye gaze is mere pseudoinnocence, a distraction at best— she'd been caught. his attention to her every detail, just another of the many reasons lois lane was madly in love with clark kent.

that being said, she knew exactly what she said— and the reporter didn't stutter. 

oh, no no, she never did.

arms wrap around his neck, like holding on forever just isn't enough. “ falling . . . jumping— tomato, tomahto. ” lois leans back, only slightly, to get a better look at him, as if she was the one winning the topic at hand. “ hey, you knew what you marrying into, smallville. ”

Lois Lane has Clark Kent — and Superman — wrapped around her finger. And she knows it. Her little smirk makes him weak at the knees, until all he can do is smile helplessly.

if there's one thing that's forever true about lois lane? the lady knows how to deliver a story. her signature flare, her burning passion, isn't confined to the inky pages of a newspaper, either!!! the way she's retelling this whole fiasco with her editor, perry, has eve gasping and ohing in all the right places. by the time the curse words are flying, eve's eyes are wide and her engines are flaring, too.

how dare these guys think they can just walk all over her?? when lois could out-wit, out-write, and all around out-smart them in her sleep!

eve is huffing, too, at this point. she shakes her head, perfect blonde hair staying in place, when she gets up and walks towards lois. ❛ i know what you could do, ❜ eve begins, a conspiratorial glint in her green eyes. she is so obviously excited by the prospect of what she's about to unleash on lois.

schemes go with teschmacher like journalism goes with lane. (kind of).

she smiles wide, her pearly teeth on display like she's getting paid to sponsor colgate toothpaste or something even better. her hands wrap around lois's arms, and she's giddy about her plan before she even speaks it to life. ❛ instead of trying to take your job back from clark, why don't you just take perry's job from him? ❜

@loisl4ne / leidi is one of the sweetest people i have met in my entire life (and also arguably one of the main reasons this particular lanaissance has lasted so long). she is always so thoughtful and so encouraging of everything i do, and she's always sending me passages from the comics history books she's reading so i never miss anything too wild. she's just one of those people who makes me so glad to be here, and i know tons of people feel the same way because 1. they've told me and 2. if there's any kind of positivity meme going around, there is a 90% chance leidi is already all over it and she's complimenting as many people as she possibly can.
