I’m tired of seeing people make gay song recommendations where every single artist is a synthpop singer, so here’s a list of punk rock songs written by/about wlw for all your gay needs.

(the lead singer of this band is a trans woman, as well, and writes a lot of songs about her experiences with gender. It’s like a game, and really easy to use.

You select a pronoun, and there are quite a few.

And they give you all the conjugations, kind of like all those old language lessons in high school.

And after a few examples, they’ll test ya!

Type in your answer. If you get it wrong, you can try again no sweat.

All in all I thought it was pretty cool and I know I’ll be using it in the future!

Just some tips I’ve learned over the years to help with my boyfriend’s dysphoria

Parents should not be searching through your trash 

Parents should not be snooping on your private social media messages 

Parents should not be taking your bedroom door off 

Have you ever thought “Man, I feel impossibly shitty and I don’t know why”?

Run through this checklist before you do anything else.

What have I eaten in the last 24 hours? Is it enough? If not, go and eat some food, you butt.

Am I hydrated? If not, put some fluids in your body, fool.

Have I slept an acceptable amount in the last 24 hours and preceeding few days? If not, do your utmost to have a nap. You need a reset, bro.

Have I been outside/partaken in whatever form of exercise I am capable of? You’re stagnating, homie.

Have I communicated with anyone? At all? About anything? In the last 24 hours? Sup, you’re not actually a lone wolf, and even if you’re just shouting BUTTLUMPS at someone over the intertubes, it’s better than shouting it at yourself inside your own head.

You totally could be polyromantic, anon! See if you like how the label polyromantic bisexual feels. Now it’s up to you to see if that makes you comfortable.

One really handy resource for unconventional pronouns is a webpage called Pronoun Island - http://pronoun.is/ - which lists about thirty sets of pronouns in use, and also lets you type in the different English-language grammatical cases of your own custom pronouns. It has a really nice set of example sentences to use as illustrations.
