basically they're all pilots (guess who rewatched top gun,,, haha,,,,). jimmy, joel, and grian (can we tell i miss the bad boys) were in flight school together in the navy. then grian either left/was dishonorably discharged (have not decided yet) for some Grian Stunt situation. there is a 5~ year gap between grian leaving the navy/bad boys. grian spends a lot of time at pearl's bar for idfk guys. grian meets scar there and they flirt a bit. scar flaunts about his flight skills to grian. grian just lets it happen and doesnt tell scar that he is Also a pilot. grian leaves scar on a cliff hanger situation and then ghosts him for a week. grian is then called upon to teach a whole bunch of mystery (not) pilots. jim, joel, and scar are there. and yknow they got some varied reactions as seen. i havent fleshed it out Toooo much. grian also has One eye because i wanted that to happen. i didnt want to draw the other eye guys pls.

callsign stuff:

jimmy "canary" solidarity (obvious choice--also the backseater for joel, eyes and ears)

joel "charger (?)" beans (genuinely i do NOT know. i donmt know enough Joel Lore despite how much i watch him,,, i am open for suggestions please)

grian "watcher" solidarity (obvious watcher lore and typical military irony,,,yknow. 1 eye)
