Ruby

sinistea - it’s very cutesy for a ghost type like Ruby and the whole porcelain upper class stereotype that she seems to want like amity (I do just like sinistea tho)

Sableeye - it’s a little goblin guy and its fascination with gems matches rubys hunt for a Ruby in episode 2

Doublade - I like the fact it’s two swords cause Ruby usually attacks multiple times per go, and also it uses telepathy to coordinate attacks

Max

Dracovish or any of the fossil pokemon from sword and shield - kinda match his whole half Goliath half halflng experiment thing (dracovish because of its water type)

Altaria - (like mentioned before) is just perfect for him, cloud Goliath mum, bird, and got that elegant look that max would want in a pokemon (Grian said himself)

Buizel - A bit of bias but I really like buizel as a pick for max but that’s probably because in the temple of the sea movie buizel is a apart of the performance troupe and its water type aligns with max’s bucket clutch

Mr wizard

Rotom - it’s a really silly guy and I like the fact that it can change into different appliances which is very mr wizard with his modern references (like the rotom phone)

Espeon - Espeon is said to predict its enemy's actions (divination) and I like the idea of rubys umbreon and wizzys espeon chilling together (and it’s a cat)

Abra/alakazam - pretty self explanatory, it’s a wizard-y pokemon and I like the spoons as a reference to the M spoon

Drampa - has that adorable vibe mr wizard has, matches the beard and it comes from the mountains like wizzy (mega drampa also regains its youth which I just think fits)

Brodude

Golurk - it’s a robot made by “ancient people” so I feel it’s fits the fantasy vibe of dnd and were made to protect people so I think it fits (in contrast to rotom)

Axew/haxorus - for brodudes axe of course, I’m in favour of axew cause I think they should all have a little guy they evolve among the hypothetical pokemon campaign. Out of all the axe related pokemon haxorus is the kindest in the dex entries so :)

I wanna know more about brodudes backstory before I assign him more pokemon but as a placeholder Shieldon/bastiodon - it’s a very tanky pokemon and it’s rock/steel typing fits the vibe perfectly. It’s also fits that study dwarf look

iiiiits honeyworks!!!! im world's normalest honeyworks fan, they're my favorite music band since forever and they mean everything to me. ive already spoken at length about them here and even wrote a whole fic inspired by one of my favorite songs (and id say one of the most iconic too!) which is yeah, confession rehearsal! an all timer!!! one for the history books!!! overall, if you like romantic comedies and romance stories, honeyworks are The guys. each of their songs tell little stories about their characters, and you get to see their love stories develop across them. it's fantastic i adore it. microdosing on shoujo manga. check out friday's good morning↓ for an adorable meet-cute

there's lots of other producers i enjoy too though, can't go wrong with some deco*27 for example, and hitoshizuku×yama∆ have such fun and interesting stories too. and im also big on harumaki gohan !!! i love harumaki gohan sm. my biggest rec for them is probably fireflies never came ↓ because it's so nice, but my fave song just has to be i can't become a lovely girl because the transfeminism of it breaks my heart so much. what a good song. harumaki gohan i hope you get to try out hrt. cobalt memories is also a huge fave of mine too it's kinda 3l scarian if you think about it
