in fics where luke gets plopped into the prequels i want every jedi within ten metres of him to think hes the weirdest jedi theyve ever seen. he has negative lightsaber form. he doesnt know what a kata is. he handstands when he meditates. his solution to sith is to try and have a chat. hes a political radical who keeps suggesting revolution. you ask him what the jedi code is and he says "kindness and compassion and helping those in need :) ". you ask how he used the force like that and he says some shit about how you are a luminous being limited only by your mind. the councils authority is just a suggestion. he is somehow the new favourite of both qui gon and yoda

actually I think one of the funniest and most underutilized fix-it possibilities is just giving obi wan a straight-up gun. literally all of star wars could have been fixed if obi wan had a gun

“oh but willow the sith could just dodge the bullets” you’re telling me that anyone is going to expect Obi-Wan Kenobi, resident Hater of Blasters, to whip out the even-less-civilized version of one mid-fight? you’re telling me that Maul mid-generator complex duel was going ‘hm, better watch out in case one of these Jedi pulls out a gun, the weapon that no Jedi would ever use!’ you’re telling me Dooku was honestly prepared for the possibility that obi wan would have a gun shoved down his boot? you’re telling me that Palpatine, whose biggest skills are 1) hiding lightsabers up his sleeves 2) throwing lightning at people when they least expect it and 3) being ludicrously sure of his nonsense plans would be expecting OBI-WAN KENOBI, master of lightsabers and whining about blasters, to pull a GUN on him???????? no. no one is immune to gun. certainly not in the hands of Obi-Wan Kenobi
