There’s just something so wonderful about seeing the show’s crew celebrate Entrapdak

 He’s afraid of change because he’s never been anything but Horde Prime’s Little Brother and who would he be if he wasn’t that? Hordak is having a crisis of identity and missing his old life because he’s probably the definition of “Happiness in Slavery” and to be honest, it’s easier to be led down an old and worn trail, than to forge your own path by yourself. When Horde Prime banished him, this was probably the first time he was truly alone and instead of embracing the freedom, he rejected it and wanted to go back to his old life.

Hordak’s life, is a “life wasted.” He could have been anyone when he was free from Prime’s intergalactic reach. But what does he do? He creates the Horde again, he wears Horde Prime’s symbol on his chest, makes banners proudly showing HP’s crest and has it on his throne. Horde Prime will always be behind Hordak, breathing down his neck and be seen every time he looks in a mirror, even when they’re separated by alternate dimensions.  

I legitimately pity him. I don’t condone his actions in trying to conquer Etheria, but I understand why he’s doing it and I hope one day Hordak would understand that he needs to live his own life and create his own SELF.

Yeah it really is sad. Like he was freee but no he forges his little empire then all he wants to do his show it to Horde Prime. Show it to his big brother. Like. Oof. Boy.

He repeats the same things his Brother does too it’s… a lot.
