ice and fire

everyone i know is hard and i know it hurts now. you feel betrayed, upset, angry, sad and you’re kinda lost but take it from someone who’ve been here before with other ships and other characters… don’t let them take it from you. remember why you love them in the first place. find that feeling and that joy they used to bring to you and focus on that. after the anger period, the mourning period will come and after that i hope you can find it in yourself to not let them go. after some time it will get easier, you might still feel a bit bitter, you might laugh it off, you might not care at all… but what the characters and the otp means to you won’t change if you hold on to what they always were about to you.

I’m gonna be honest, I don’t really trust GRRM to fix this either. Will he get to it in a way that makes more sense and gives us more insight into the characters? Probably. If he ever actually writes the books. But he’s already said that the ending is the same for the main characters, it’ll only be different for a few secondary characters. And you know what? His writing has ALWAYS had plenty of misogyny and racism in it, he’s just able to write a hell of a lot better than D&D. But ultimately? I’m not holding my breath to be ~saved~ by TWOW or ADOS and I don’t feel like these things are things that he would ~never~ do.

Oh, and the whole point of Jonerys was just to make it hurt more when Jon kills her. Better to have Dany stabbed by her boyfriend than a random guy right? Why have the Ice and Fire heroes rule in harmony when you can have the Good Guy Jon put down his crazy girlfriend like a rabid dog? I mean come on, she’s nothing more than a prop for Jon’s totally endearing moody man pain!
