Up Next: Dothraki

Like all of these fashion illustrations I started with the book description of things and tried to work out real-world parallels that either were the inspiration or could be interesting inspiration.

For the most part I was inspired by Mongolian clothing for the Dothraki. The deel, the horse-hoof cuffs, wrestling pants, the beaded headband, etc.

While coming up with variation in the four example heads I decided to add a younger member of the Dosh Khaleen. I thought it would be really interesting to have them wear a horse-head themed headdress.

(Off topic but has anyone ever see 'Ever After'? The nice step-sister's masquerade outfit? Neigh. If you know you laughed, if you don't know, don't worry about it)
