But how tall do you think the NPCs, or characters are in Elden Ring? It’s my first soulslike game, and I was kinda surprised by the massive height difference.

And when I say NPCs I mean like Blaidd, or the Carians, bosses etc, as some of the other NPCs seem to be around our height anyway.

Hi! I’ve alluded to the height of the demigods many times, but I’ve never done a proper post on it. In general, most of the bosses are significantly taller than the player (which is normal for souls games), but even the demigods who aren’t bosses are shown to be significantly tall as well (such as Ranni’s original body, and Rykard pre-snakeification if we look at his throne).

It’s hard to objectively compare all of their heights because not all of them have proper character models, but I drew a rough height chart of the Carian family with Tanith for scale, using extremely scientific means (scooting around screenshots and model comparisons in photoshop):

If Tanith (the player height) is around 5-6ft tall, then the Carian family would’ve all been around 8-10ft tall. Except for Radahn he’s built different

that is. utterly fascinating. absolutely not what you want to hear from a pastor but such a deliciously angsty look into his mind, especially with what he includes at the end there about his cruelty being ultimately a good thing because it improves the public's opinion of matilda by contrast. (spoiler alert:) the fact that she's been actively manipulating his emotions for years and turning him into her puppet really makes that sentiment........make a dark kind of sense. matilda probably wants him to do that too and slowly put it into his mind that it was his own idea.
