That’s it. That’s the plot.

OK. Neither one of them actually upload a super clear profile pic. Amalia’s probably like her silhouette looking over Budapest. Georg is probably an ab pic or he’s wearing sunglasses and is standing far away so it’s ambiguous. They each have Instagram accounts linked to their Tinder profiles but all of their posts are of their aesthetic, so no selfies or group photos there either. They would probably work at like… Urban Outfitters or somewhere less problematic. “Dance halls” are clubs. All of the jokes about Arpad’s age would just be making fun of his fondness for SnapChat and Tumblr. Mr. Maraczek and Sipos would be the technologically challenged Baby Boomers. “I Resolve” would be more like “iResolve” and would happen after Ilona accidentally sees a text on Steven’s phone from another woman (Mr. Maraczek’s wife). Ilona would meet Paul at the Apple store after getting her number changed and he would be a successful app programmer rather than an optometrist. After the bad date, Amalia and Georg would sub tweet about each other without knowing they were Tinder matches. The rest of the plot would stay true to the musical and Amalia and Georg have a wedding that’s worthy of a BuzzFeed article.
