“if we need it,” steve confirmed with a soft smile – he didn’t mind walking, any time they took was time spent with her. “how it that going? learning with strange? he seems like the guy to be able to help.” he didn’t really know a whole lot about stephen strange personally, but he’d seen him in the battle and all the help he was able to provide then. and for all of wanda’s exceptional power, he knew she’d be more comfortable in learning control. he let out a quiet laugh, glancing at the notepad. “i think my profession was pretty set in stone a long time ago – or ice, i don’t know.” he attempted to joke. “but thank you, it’s really just a hobby now.” his shoulders shrugged, the thought of making something for her made him smile, though. “absolutely, i’d love to – no payment needed, but i wouldn’t turn down your cooking any day of the week anyway.” he tried to pretend he didn’t flush a shade of light pink at the compliment. his hand turned in hers to hold it carefully as he stood. “would you like to start walking?”
“it is... going,“ wanda confirmed with a bit of a head duck, allowing a small laugh to escape her. “stephen is a... good teacher, strict and kind where it counts, not entirely the best with patience but i have enough for us both so that is okay,” she joked, giving steve a small shrug before standing and moving to be beside him. “then it is settled, i will cook and you will make me something pretty,” she grinned, leaning down to wrap her hands around his arm to help pull him up, “yes, let us go.” she gave a bit of a laugh as she started to pull him along and heading out. glancing around them, she smiled at the scenery and looked back up at him - finding it kind of endearing with their height differences. “this place is lovely, we should... do this more often.” she stated before finding herself tacking into a different thought and turning to look ahead of herself, “what happened at the halloween party?”
