Some other miscellaneous I noticed on the video
We make fun of dqvs for just letting Dream deal with some shit, but it is a very good strategy to admit when his involvement could damage them more than help them and leave someone more experienced deal with shit is literally a good strat
After Dream tells him the hunters are above em, dvqs starts getting into role crouched already to not lose hiding
He tries to put Dream in safe spaces whenever able, same as Dream, always looking at the threat before the switch
Dream knowing immediately when the hunters talk about him and his position despite using "code words"
Dvqs doing the - I'm on half a heart but you don't know cuz I'm goading you into a fight - strat but it not really working cuz he won't commit to it like the madman of Dream does, literally by jumping into the fright with half a heart
I think dqvs whole mentality through all this video was "I might not be the reason why we win BUT I damn well won't be the reason why we lose"
Personally feel like Dream is getting acostumed to using his music more comfortably
Dream and dqvs have the exact same intonation when being chased, low health and the hunter goes "it's over" and they go "..no it's not"
Sapnap is so good at counting, not only the seconds when they switched but also the bubbles he had when gone underwater????? Why how???
The switch in brightness between Dream's and dqvs screens was really helpful to tell them apart

Really feel for dqvs having to survive with that godawful hotbar setup

Sapnap would try to avoid engaging when unsure, and mostly try to avoid Dream, making Dream waste time. Seemed to be chilling otherwise. George didn't give a fuck he was all in all the time lmao

3 pro minecraft players put their singular brain cell together to try and build a nether portal
some of my favorite moments from dsmp are when the ccs are trying very hard not to break character and you can hear the laughter in their voices because it's supposed to be a serious moment or the character simply wouldn't have laughed in that scenario but they're having to play the single most ridiculous thing you've ever seen with a completely straight face

so, there are some snakes that just bite. pure evil. but they weren't always that way. you made them that way by treating them like that's what they always were. and sometimes you do have to ask the question. how did you get there? because imagine the snake finally decides fuck you, i am just gonna bite. i'm gonna lay and wait in this bush, gonna watch your ankles go by, the clock ticking while venom slowly fills my fangs. and i'm not gonna stop until you put me down. because, i'm no long protecting my eggs. they're already gone. they were stolen by the hawks when you chased me away from my nest. so. some snakes do just bite. do i? do you? not even once?
I need to rewatch the dsmp with someone and we take notes about silly ooc moments and/or habits the players have and try to turn them into in character mannerisms

• what looks like a grocery list, but most of the page had a ink spill on it so it's illegible
• the grocery list rewritten, it includes several sets of netherite armor, an excessive amount of gapples, and (what was clearly written later) an entire flower shop
• a actually diary entry, starting with "dear diary" and everything, detailing a crashed wedding
• a page listing the pros and cons of destroying l'manberg, he clearly came back to this page several times
• 3 nearly empty pages, in the corner of each is a little stick figure that dances when you flip the page back and forth
• a pros and cons list of killing Tommy (scribbled out with the word "stupid" written next to it)
• a pros and cons list of faking his death
• a pros and cons list of a fake betrayal
• the initials T and D surrounded by a heart and a simple doodle of a pig
• a page of what he calls "evil affirmations"
• several pressed flowers stuck in between pages throughout the book
• a list of "things to seem more evil" includes a dress code and several phrases he can say to seem more menacing
• a really cute and simple drawing of him holding hands with George and Sapnap under a rainbow, there are a few torn out pages before it, almost like this is his 5th attempt
• scarily detailed accounts of every method of death with "anonymous witness" attached to each one
• notes comparing several stories from Greek mythology to current life, he misspelled most names
• the rough draft of all his speeches
Sometimes I forget that there was once a time where he was happy

Hi! Been a while lol
Life has been a bit ass, and it's given me art-block for about a year :') (and it's also just kept me busy). I think this might be the first thing i have legit finished in a year :/ but I think I like how it turned out, so good enough!

i really loved the moments where the dsmp members took advantage of streaming as a medium, but i can really only think of 2 examples
when ponk announced that an ad break was coming, it cut to that godzilla (?) ad that was playing all the time on twitch, but a few seconds in it "glitched" back to a flashback scene in minecraft before the ad finished playing, and ponk didn't acknowledge that anything had happened
when seapeekay went afk in the egg room and left his webcam on so chat could see his chair, and then his character started moving on its' own towards the egg
can anyone think of any other examples i love stuff like this
YESS RAUGHH adding onto this with other cool moments i remember with the streaming medium (maybe not on the same level but still my favs)
when tubbo found tommy's tower and immediately disconnected from the server, shut off his webcam, and turned off the stream
when ant was killed during the red banquet and the stream ended and people had to rush to other povs to find out what happened afterwards instead of just him respawning and continuing from there
and (not so much streaming as just general video media specific) when jack was having issues with his screen capture where the screen kept sporadically going black and he explained it as being a result of c!jack drinking so often (literally getting blackout drunk)
that one was SICK i can't believe i forgot about it
i also wanna mention philza doing a "normal" hardcore stream on nov 16, presenting it as a way to chill from all the lore, before he suddenly jumps on to stop c!wilbur from pushing the button
something I really love is how the revivebook was created because cc!dream needed a reason for why his character would switch sides during the pogtopia war, and it ended up being just such a classic literalization for the way that his character is just unable to let go of the past. because there is really no stronger metaphor/allegory for an inability to let go than necromancy.
