Chai had jumped into the freshwater body minutes ago. It’s not long till her legs merged into a beautiful, scaley, pink fish tail. She was back to being mermaid. There was no nearest lake but this one--and Chai badly needed water. “--hm?”She hid her lower body secretly in the water. She heard a voice from behind, so she made sure only her human upper part is seen. “N-not allowed? Ah... Not even a few minutes? Ahaha-”Well, this is awkward.

HEY I’M BACK! i’ve lost so much muse so i went inactive. i didn’t forget abt chailai tho. i drew her for mermay2019! if you remember the wip i posted, well here it is! i love the outcome! 

The two are watching a scene from a rom-com Asian movie. It’s those typical ‘cute girl and tall guy who teases her’ tropes. However, the leading lady is the prize of this movie. Although she doesn’t look threatening, her spunky nature doesn’t take crap from anyone. Currently, they’re watching the scene where she beats up a cheater ex, with other ladies he cheated on. Even a male onlooker joins them in! The leading man is seen smiling and admiring the girl from afar. Chai giggles, stuffing her mouth with popcorn. “--He should join them too!”
