i want to do simple things with you. going to the grocery store, walking in the rain to the bus stop, folding laundry. every monotonous task seems full of happiness with you.

where do TV shows get this idea that high school is constant drama, nothing even fucking happened to me in high school

the older i get the more it’s clear that being smart doesn’t get you very far if you’re not disciplined. there are tons of people who are brilliant but not disciplined. they have amazing ideas but cannot finish a project. they are creative and innovative but cannot execute a plan. i see how important it is to set deadlines and boundaries for myself an to be disciplined.

we’re almost in the ‘20s and dadaism is thriving, europe’s in a shambles, everyone is broke and the right wing is on the rise so i guess we really don’t learn a goddamn thing huh
