Sometimes our memories aren’t nice, huh? It feels scary and sad, doesn’t it baby? It’s okay. Let’s remember/do a few things.
Take a few deep breaths if you can. In through your nose, filling your chest and tummy like a balloon. Then slowly let it out. Do that a couple times.
Get or do something that makes you feel safe. Get a blanket or a stuffie if you need. Rest against a corner if that makes you feel safe. Rocking yourself with your deep breaths may help some. Do whatever you need to do to safely soothe yourself.
Have some water. Sip at it slowly, when our brains get scary sometimes it makes us feel icky. Water will help, just take it gently.
More deep breaths and water until you feel better. It’s okay if it takes a while to calm down. That’s normal. You are safe.
If you are hurt, take care of yourself the best you can. (Yes, you deserve to be taken care of. You have permission to love yourself.)
After you are taken care of, you might be very tired. Big emotions mean big energy loss. Get yourself into bed and snuggled up. If you can’t sleep, at least rest and lay down. Try to close your eyes.
You are loved. You are wanted. And you are more than the scary things that happened to you. Just keep breathing <3

I see mentions of fictional caregivers a lot but how does it work? We think we might be interested but don't feel like we know enough about it :(
Any explanations are welcome :3
Have a lovely day!!!
theres actually few ways it can work!!
to get a fictional cg you can pick a comforting character from a fandom you like and make them your caregiver or you can make an imaginary caregiver! like how some people have imaginary friends!
heres how some use them!
♡ journaling – writing letters or diary entries as if communicating with the caregiver is one way!
♡ roleplaying – just jmagine they are there when you r small and they r helping you n stuff!!
♡ fanfiction – writing stories abt them being a caregiver to you is another way!
♡ background info – for an imaginary cg you make make a backstory for the caregiver, making their personality, give them a past, etc!
if you guys wanna try it out then try it out however you'd like! theres really not one correct way to have a fictional cg :3
Hot take: I don’t really like the term “blue regression.” It’s miles better than “impure regression,” but it’s still othering. It implies that age regression is a purely happy experience, and if yours is associated with trauma then it’s not just regression, it’s blue regression.
If we’re being more specific, why not give a name to happy regression too? I nominate “fluffy regression,” in honor of fluffy fanfic. There’s nothing wrong with fluffy regression! It’s just not the only type, nor is it the default.
As the year is ending soon... this is your friendly reminder that you didn’t waste your year. any moments of happiness or comfort, any small accomplishments, they all matter. this has been a really hard year, and simply surviving is something to be proud of. 🤎

I have a rabbit plush backpack charm from the Stardew Valley collection. When I have a stressful appointment and I feel like I can’t bring a stuffed animal, this little rabbit is the perfect companion.
If you’re like me and enjoy pretending all your stuffies can talk to each other, trust me: a plush keychain is no exception! Not only do you have one subtle plush friend with you, but you have a connection with your stuffies back at home too! They’re all there to support you, even if they can’t come along in person. ❤️

regression isn't always colouring and dino nuggies and stuffies, sometimes it's swaying on the spot while brushing teeth or going for a walk outside while feeling like a kid or baking muffins from a box mix you always wanted to have - your regression is there for YOU, it's there to make you happy. don't get lost in the thought of how it might be perceived <33

Did you know that some astronauts bring stuffed animals with them on their journeys to space? A zero gravity indicator (ZGI) is a plushie that is brought aboard spacecraft to demonstrate when the astronauts have reached the weightlessness of space. Even though the astronauts are strapped in their seats, the plushie will float — and viewers of the livestream will know they’ve reached space!
Read on to learn about some of the plushies astronauts have taken with them to space.
Giraffiti
NASA astronaut and Artemis II commander Reid Wiseman brought a very special ZGI to the International Space Station: a toy giraffe named Giraffiti. Wiseman’s mother gifted Giraffiti to his oldest daughter when she was born. When Wiseman embarked on his first mission to space, his kids gave him Giraffiti to take with him to space.
Dinosaur
NASA astronaut Karen Nyberg made a stuffed dinosaur toy by sewing together scraps of food-packaging liners and a T-shirt. Although this dinosaur toy was not an official zero gravity indicator that didn’t stop it from floating around the International Space Station and being very cute for the cameras!
8-Ball
NASA astronaut and Artemis II mission specialist Christina Koch brought a plush 8-ball toy with her during her stay aboard the International Space Station in 2019. The toy represented the Astronaut Class of 2013, which was affectionately called the “8-balls” because of its eight members. Both NASA astronauts Nick Hague and Jessica Meir, pictured here, were members of this class.
Crane
NASA's SpaceX Crew-10 mission astronauts chose a plush origami crane as their zero gravity indicator because they are all pilots and grew up building paper airplanes. The crane is also a symbol of peace.
Cheburashka and Chimpo
English captions are available for the video.
When NASA astronaut Frank Rubio flew to the International Space Station in 2022, his cosmonaut crewmates brought aboard a stuffed animal named Cheburashka. Rubio also carried a small stuffed animal in his pocket named Chimpo. Chimpo was a stuffed animal that Rubio’s children had for almost 20 years before giving it to Rubio for him to bring aboard his flight.
Snoopy
Snoopy hitched a ride around the Moon aboard the Orion spacecraft during the Artemis I mission in 2022. Although this mission didn’t have astronauts, Snoopy was joined by a manikin named Moonikin Campos who was used to measure vibrations inside the capsule. NASA has shared an association with Snoopy since the Apollo era, when Charles M. Schulz Schulz created comic strips of Snoopy on the Moon, capturing public excitement about America’s achievements in space.
What would you take with you to space?
Now it’s your turn! People of all ages from all over the world have the opportunity to design the zero gravity indicator for the Artemis II mission around the Moon. Should the astronauts’ plush companion have wings? Scales? What would you like to see floating around the Orion spacecraft? Check out the Moon Mascot challenge to learn more! Submissions are due June 16, 2025.
