to visit new places and make new friends

To get a job in either research or something more grassroots as soon as possible

Be more proactive in writing and research (ig you can say be a lil more ambitious but minus the hubris that comes with it)

Working towards a PhD but not before getting a foothold in my field and having some experience under my belt before running into that hellscape

I visited friends in Italy recently and hugged by closest friends and loved walking around Rome with all my heart. I also started getting involved in things outside thesis work hence why I'm not crumbling as a person lol. They're collective work and a few reading groups. So far it's going pretty well, been journaling and hopefully if the city's weather isn't gonna be insanely pissing rain I'm gonna head to a second hand bookstore tomorrow cause I'm — And I can't believe I'm saying this –running out of books to read.

Also it's cold and raining and everytime people see me they say I look like a wet cat with bags under the eyes and soaked hair... At this point that and me smoking is all they know me for... I have the kinda aura that only the gays appreciate.
