Hey so if I decided to say, "I'm homophobia affected because I'm a lesbian. These bisexual people are homophobia exempt." And then started saying stuff about "we should murder all homophobia exempt people!" While very clearly talking about bisexuals, that would be bad and detestable, right?

You know, transandrophobic arguments begin to make a lot more sense when you realise that these people view trans women as Inherently Different to cis women, and that they will Never Pass as such, thus being subjected to Eternal Torment; and that they view trans men as Inherently The Same to cis men, and that they will Always Pass as such, thus being subjected to Immediate And Eternal Privilege.

I think trans men who still present femininely are awesome

can i be honest? i feel like the hatred of discussions of transandrophobia, rise in radical feminism, slide back into transmedicalism, and just this rise in casual misogyny and expectations of womenhood (ie: girl math, girl dinner) are all things that go hand in hand. like the perception of women as the "weaker" gender, which both denies them their agency and autonomy to do harm, and the perception of men as the "stronger" gender, which means they're seen as oppressers and never the oppressed, are all a key part of why people are reacting like this. i think that's why discussions of transandrophobia befuddles a lot of people. combine this with the erasure of transmasc experiences, and suddenly, you have the perfect narrative about these "weak girls" transitioning into "strong men".

I feel like trans radfems are simultaneously adopting the terf/radfem viewpoint of "all women are born to be Passive Victims to the men around them, while men are destined to be Active Victimizers to the women around them" but with a trans coat of paint, AND the transmed/truscum viewpoint of "To be trans is to be miserable. Only Real Trans People constantly think about all the ways they could die, every day, every hour. The only real genders are Man and Woman and Maybe Nonbinary but they're on thin fucking ice. If you identify out of any joy or show any love for your gender identity, then you're part of the oppressor class"
