can a self insert be an oc if they have lore that has reshaped who they are as a person making them no longer me in certain ways esp due to the environment of the "canon" world but is still mostly similar to me and also they dont exactly look like me but theyre still me but theyre not at the same time?

ADHD meds kicked in right as I decided to "take a break" from writing.

Ended up doing on a spontaneous audio mixing project (I heard "Freakin' Out" by Dexter and the Moonrocks and thought, "Huh... what if I mixed that with 'King' by Xxxtentacion", OF ALL THINGS--), which took me roughly 6 hours, and now I'm left with a subpar audio and no recollection as to what my next step was going to be with my writing 😬

... Needless to say, I locked-in on the wrong project. Oops.

... I swear, it was just a couple of grammatical errors, ya gotta believe me.

Yeah, I know that isn't a TON of words, but trust. This is SIGNIFICANT considering this is already UP ON AO3 LIKE WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING??? 😭😭😭

(Edit: I'm gonna upload this 600 word edit onto Ao3 soon! I haven't done so yet, but I pinky-promise it will happen within the next day or so! It doesn't change the plot at all! Just fixes a couple of things and uh... adds another pinch of spice, I suppose 😅)

Stars, I am CACKLING! I was just about to post something about wanting suggestions for this upcoming chapter of "TKG:R", and as I was typing out examples, I came up with the idea on my own 😆 Goes to show you, sometimes you just need to write things down (or even say them out loud) for your mind to come up with the solution to your problem. Haha!

Best part is you can LITERALLY read out my reaction once I thought it up bwahahaha!

So when I went to see "Iron Lung" at the theatre, with my best friend, I was at the height of my "am I disabled enough to use a mobility aid" phase. You know, the "but I'm so young, what will people THINK if they saw me," sort of thinking. We left after the film and I saw a young person, with their grandparents, leave after us, using a rollator.

... Friend, I don't know who you are, but you gave me courage that day. I saw you and your lovely, decorated rollator for only a few seconds, but you were that final push for me. I am now looking into painting my cane and rollator and I'm thinking of putting little mini fairy lights on my rollator as well. Thank you, young person. Just for... being. I hope you're doing well, and I hope you enjoyed your movie.
