Hi, I recently got into Pucca a week ago and your blog has been life support for me as a place to consume more Pucca content!!! The Pucca IP timeline was a ray of hope for me, but it does give me some concerns about VOOZ
-On the pucca world website, the "Contact Us" button is for brand collabs and licensing stuff, but the moving banner thing has questions on it too, so theoretically someone could ask about the IP and show it as (further?) proof that the crypto stuff is a hack (I'm not sure if it leads to the actual VOOZ team because of the next concern)
-The "Roadmap" button on the pucca world website says "Ownership turns into participation. NFTs and the core community grow on Base" (it's in Phase 3- also it sorta sounds AI generated, but maybe that's just me) so could that is probably a result of the hacking, but if VOOZ has the IP back why haven't they changed it? Do they not know? Is it because of the IP freezing? (also why don't they delete the trump and ai stuff on the official channel)
-If the IP is frozen, how are they making shorts on the official pucca channel? Does they not need the IP to make their shorts? Is it even VOOZ posting? I mean they stopped the music video recreation stuff (also Phase 1 on the roadmap talks about "KPOP driven virality"), but on the new short with the chopsticks and Pucca swiping the 'types of boyfriends' (?) to the side to reach Garu, one of the cards says "Ai-level handsome" (which is what brought up these questions)
-Another thing about the shorts, in the comments some of the Korean commenters are talking about a Pucca's World Tour, which was some sort of pop-up serving dimssum (idk how to spell it), and if the IP was frozen how did they do the pop-up store? maybe it was before the IP froze, but it doesn't seem like it was that long ago (also do you know who the girl who looks like Pucca in the pop-up store promo is?)
-On the pucca world website there's a link to a discord, which I joined, and it still seems mostly on the crypto NFT guys' side
-Is there a moderate change that the series can come back in the future? I know that they (mostly) got the IP back, but with all the concerns and the legal troubles in the timeline make me wary

I try to put a lot of effort into this space as a semi-organised environment to chronicle/catalogue the many intricacies of Pucca and her brand (though it isn’t as organised as I would personally like but since Tumblr has taken away user’s ability to edit the html of their blogs there’s basically nothing I can do about that *sigh*). Regardless, it really does make me feel like I’m contributing to the fandom/community whenever people thank me for this blog so thank you again! I really appreciate it!💗
Okay so I’ll try to answer your questions as best I can but please keep in mind most of what I am saying is speculative on my part as I’m just some guy and am not a lawyer or businessman or anything like that! The same disclaimer applies for this post as my timeline in that this response will include my interpretation of events based on supporting documents I could (or could not) find. This is not an official/legal statement by any means.
(This will be a long read so I apologies in advance...)
♡ The Pucca World website is sketchy at best. Pucca hasn’t had her official website since around approximately 2022. Pucca world.com was first registered with the url pucca.meme, then it changed to Pucca.global after VOOZ specifically warned fans not to trust the pucca.meme url.
Pucca.meme and pucca.global then redirected to puccaworld.com as a way to appear more legitimate.
The website design and layout is very very similar to the forest.ai as they credit themselves with ‘partnering’ with Pucca to ‘step into web3’ a claim that is unvaried to this day.
All of this to say, I do not trust puccaworld.com.
♡ As for the crypto/NFT stuff being advertised as ‘phase 3’ on the site, no. I don’t think this is anything Kim Bu-Gyeong and/or VOOZ wants any part of. Regardless of whether they were originally on board for this idea back when they first met Sung (something we do know happened at least once, based on photo evidence), they clearly did not want to go forward with this development plan for Pucca’s IP as they vehemently denied involvement with the crypto/NFT projects back in 2024. In 2024 Kim Bu-gyeong also tried (and failed) to reach out to both fans and Youtube on Twitter in order to regain control of Pucca’s socials.
♡ Why hasn’t VOOZ taken the url back? Again I can only speculate here but my best guess for this is probably because it was never their site to begin with.
Puccaclub.com stopped being online roughly around late 2022-early 2023 which aligns with the last official content released by VOOZ on the official Pucca Facebook and Instagram accounts (Pucca - 뿌까 / @ pucca_insta_official).
Pucca.meme/pucca.global was registered in 2024 and only started to redirect to puccaworld.com in February 2025. It is my personal belief that VOOZ had no involvement with the creation of puccaworld.com. Rather, the hackers saw the lack of an official Puccaclub website and knowing about the legal troubles of the IP, seized the opportunity to create a new “official” website in order to trick fans (myself included at first). After they successfully hacked into the Pucca Twitter account, fans called them out for being hackers/scammers and pointed to the dodgy username and url as evidence (with the original username being @ puccaincrypto and the original url briefly being pucca.meme and then pucca.global), so due to that they changed them to @ pucca_official with the puccaworld.com url.
Simply put, I think VOOZ cannot regain access to this website as it never belonged to them in the first place. Whether they can shut the site down or repossess the url in the future with the on-going legal situation is something I am not sure of. I imagine either one of those two situations could happen but I don't know for sure.
Here's an interesting tidbit, did you know puccaworld.com uses Cloudflare Singapore hosting? Singapore... The same location Forest Technologies is registered as a business… The same location Parkspecrum Ventures is registered as a business... The same location many crypto scams operate from as it is considered a "crypto haven"... Hmm... Now as a completely unrelated topic, did you know Singapore recently passed a law that specifically states crypto assets are legally “property”? How fascinating! Isn’t that interesting?
♡ Anywayyyyyy let's get back to this topic. Why hasn't the Pucca World channel deleted the horrible Trump/AI videos? I can only speculate that it is due to the virality of them. They were and still are very controversial videos for Pucca and as a result, many people were speaking (rightfully, complaining) about them which lead to them going viral. Bad publicity is still publicity and for the hackers who clearly do not care about Pucca or the fanbase, this controversy was a simple marketing tactic to spark “hype” around Pucca (regardless of the actual harm it brought to both the brand and the fanbase.)
Clout chasers produce rage-bait content to farm engagement ➜ this sparks outrage as a response ➜ content goes viral ➜ clout chasers then use said rage-bait content to advertise and pander to fellow crypto losers ➜ this momentarily results in monetary rewards ➜ money quickly dries up ➜ rinse and repeat.
♡ Why are Pucca World socials still making content and do they need the IP to do so? Yes they absolutely need either full IP ownership or a Licensing Agreement between both companies. Pucca World have yet to prove they have either.
The document they previously showed fans (after we demanded they do so, mind you) did not appear to be a real, legal document that specifically stated they had the rights to Pucca's trademark or the ownership of VOOZ. Instead what they did show us was a photo of an already printed document titled "Founders Agreement" which was allegedly co-signed by Kim Bu-gyeong (with the international spelling of his name spelled incorrectly as "Kim Boo-Kyung" instead of Kim Bu-Kyoung). Kim Bu-Gyeong himself took to Twitter to disavow their claims and questioned the document's authenticity.
The document was also not signed with any official (or otherwise) Korean seal known as either a Dojang (personal seal) or Ingam (registered seal).
This document outlines both the practical and legal use of Dojang for signing documents.
In essence, while signatures are the prevalent method of authentication in many parts of the world, Koreans have a deep-rooted preference for using dojangs. They also consider a stamp to be more secure than a signature as it is more difficult to forge. The unique designs of each stamp make them almost impossible to duplicate. As a result, most Koreans have a personal seal for signing documents. The seal imprint has, in conjunction with a seal certificate, also a legal validity comparable to that of a notarised signature in most European countries.
According to the Korean Commercial Registration Act, each director who represents a company must register a seal with the competent registry office. The seal usually includes the name of the company as well as the name of the Representative Director and/or his position.
An Ingam would be used as an official signature on such documents as:
♡ Contracts including rental agreements, employment contracts, sales contracts, business leases, consulting agreements, partnership agreements, etc.
♡ Bank documents
♡ Legal documents like a power of attorney, certificate of inheritance, or court document.
♡ Tax-related documents
♡ Government applications like a passport, driver’s license, or any other type of government-issued identification.
♡ Business-related documents like a business proposal, invoice, or any other type of business document.
Now while Korean contracts do not strictly require a registered seal, it is very unusual for a document of this nature, especially involving a Korean creator and company, not to include one. Combined with the fact that the agreement is disputed by Kim Bu-gyeong and appears to relate to a token project rather than clear IP ownership, this raises serious questions about its reliability and how it’s being presented.
Yet when fans such as myself called into question the legitimacy of Komal, Sung and other's claims of ownership, they proceeded to gaslight, insult and mock the fanbase whilst hypocritically insisting we were "stuck in denial mode" and we "do not understand business practices".
According to the Korean Trademark Registry, Sung Woo Park, Komal Hussain, Parkspectrum Ventures AND/OR Forest Technologies have not once been listed as actual owners of Pucca's trademark. Currently VOOZ are listed as the full legal owners of Pucca and as such the necessary license agreement Pucca World would need to produce the content they are currently, has yet to be officially registered online or shown to us in any way.
Whilst we are on the topic of the "Founders Agreement" I find it astonishing that there is a specific clause on page 2 that states:
"NON-DISPARAGEMENT
The Founders agree not to make any disparaging or derogatory remarks, comments, or statements about the Company, its products, services, employees, subsidiaries or affiliates, whether orally, in writing, or through any other medium."
Now, take a look at the following replies written by the Pucca World team on Twitter...
While past reporting confirms disputes around Pucca’s business dealings, there is no publicly verified outcome establishing criminal wrongdoing as far as I could find. So presenting such allegations as fact (e.g. "embezzlement" or "potential imprisonment") goes beyond reported disputes and may be considered defamatory or, at minimum, clearly disparaging. These statements being made about Bu go far beyond referencing past accusations of misconduct and include serious allegations, for which there appears to be no publicly verified evidence of!
To add to this, under South Korean law, even true statements can constitute defamation if they harm someone’s reputation. A defense only applies if the statement is both true and made solely in the public interest (Criminal Act Articles 307–310).
To summaries, the "Founders Agreement" Komal presented as “proof of ownership” is already of questionable legitimacy, yet the actions of those working for/with Pucca World prove to further undermine it. The agreement specifically includes a non-disparagement clause between founders, but they have repeatedly made public statements attacking Kim Bu-gyeong's character. Meaning that even if we were to take this so-called contract at face value, they themselves do not appear to be adhering to its own terms!
But okay... Let's pretend for a second that Pucca World is legit. Let's pretend that it is VOOZ posting these shorts on Tiktok, Twitter or Instagram. What would that mean? Nothing. Even if we suspended our beliefs and all collectively decided that Pucca World was actually the legal owners of Pucca's IP they still would not be allowed to post as they are currently on their socials! The IP is once again frozen by the Korean courts due to continued unpaid debts.
Meaning either which way you look at it, this content is not permitted. A trademark under court seizure cannot be advertised, commercialised, sold or bought. It is frozen. No money can be made. No transfers. Nothing. Literally nothing. The IP is at this point being used as collateral by another creditor/company in order for VOOZ to pay off their debt. Simply put, Pucca is being held hostage by the courts until VOOZ pay up.
♡ Pucca X Dimsum Pop-up collaboration with Chef Jung Ji-sun. Based on the evidence we have, this event was not held with VOOZ's permission. Given that the event took place between Jan 30–Feb 1, 2026 and the recent trademark seizure was also registered on Jan 30th, 2026 I can say for sure that legally speaking, this event was not allowed. Again any IP under court seizure cannot be used commercially at all. This event was held to promote Pucca and a celebrity chef was heavily involved with both the marketing and event activities/merchandise. Said merchandise is not allowed to be sold! Literally on the first day of the event, the seizure was in effect! That isn't a rough estimation either as the KIPRIS website literally states that.
As for the legitimacy of this event prier to the seizure... I doubt it was something VOOZ considered. The last seizure was lifted back in 2024 but VOOZ didn't regain the full transfer of Pucca's trademark until late Dec 2025 so the possibility of this event being legit is small in my opinion. The rights transfer back to VOOZ was registered DEC 24, 2025 with this collaboration being announced approximately a month later on JAN 21, 2026. I am having a difficult time imagining VOOZ planning this event so soon after they regain control of Pucca's IP. The announcement itself doesn't mention VOOZ at all in the article, instead quoting "the Pucca IP" for a statement on the event... Very dubious if you ask me. Again this is just speculation on my end but based on the evidence we do have... This event and the selling of Pucca merchandise from it, was absolutely not permitted by the Korean courts and is very sketchy at best (and outright illegal at worst).
♡ The "official" Pucca discord advertised by Pucca World it is a place full of crypto losers who outright mock and insult both new and long-term fans who actually care about Pucca. See the Pucca subreddit for proof of this as I pinned the screenshots of their replies showing clear contempt for both Pucca and the fanbase. You will only find crypto jargon and web3 circle-jerking from a bunch of lonely, deeply insecure, often middle-aged men who want to exploit Pucca and her brand as much as possible until VOOZ can do something about it. Which unfortunately, won't be anytime soon as their debts seem to be very, very high.
♡ Do I think Pucca will ever come back the way she did 10-15 years ago? No. No I do not. I think if VOOZ are to ever pay off their debts and regain full control of not just Pucca, but also the socials associated with the brand then Pucca in some official capacity can absolutely come back. Hopefully with another season to revive the franchise...
Do I think that after all of this is done and dusted with, Pucca will have a renaissance? No. The Pucca I loved has long since been dead for over 10 years now. With the change to both the character design and the overall look/lore of the show, Pucca as she once was is categorically no more. I don't envision VOOZ reversing that anytime in the future regardless of the current legal issues happening now. I think they will double down on the new, bloated, uncanny proportions of Pucca and in turn continue to drift further and further away from Pucca's original identity.
It will of course be better than nothing and I will still be a fan who loves and cherishes Pucca... But it won't be the same.
(I have a personal theory that once VOOZ decided to partner with Disney back in 2003, they effectively began the (almost inevitable) decline of Pucca as a result of that decision- despite how beneficial I do recognise that licensing agreement being at the time. I can go further into this theory if you or others are interested in this take but for now I've written enough haha!)
I apologise for the absolute novel I have given you as a response but I did think it was necessary for me to be as thorough as possible when answering your questions. This also isn't even everything that has happened in the past 4 or so years, believe it or not! /).(\
