When you're kinda cute and TV people want you on television, but you're also kinda neurodivergent, anxious and socially inept... π
Mitch Hedberg famously scored a $500,000 development deal with FOX in the mid '90s and was called "The next Seinfeld" by comedy critics. His sitcom deal didn't materialize, but he was (in his words) hoping it wouldn't, so he didn't have to be on TV all the time. He was also offered a re-occurring role in "That '70s show", but he dipped after one episode.
He was a touring comic with a rockstar mentality, who famously never took a break. Unfortunately, his life on the road and r'n'r lifestyle caught up with him and he died at only 37. He would've been 58 today...Happy heavenly birthday to the greatest rock 'n' roll comic, a living ball of anxiety & autism final bossβ’οΈ. π
