this is based on a headcanon thing i saw a while back but i don’t remember who posted it
Sirius being obsessed with rem
“Mate, we’ve been trying to get you attention for the last 5 minutes,” James said to Sirius. They were in the great hall for dinner and Sirius seemed to be in his own little world, he took one last longing look at Remus as he was talking to Lily and turned to Prongs.
“Sorry Prongsie, just got lost in thought.”
“Well that’s a first,” chimed Pete.
“And what were you thinking about Pads? Hmm, possibly a certain werewolf?” James teased.
“I mean how couldn’t I? Just look at him, innocently eating.” Sirius answered unknowingly, back in his daze at Moony.
“You’re whipped mate, you gotta tell him how you feel.”
Sirius snapped his head around and stared at James, “Uh what? What do you mean, what feelings.. Ha ha.”
“I’m not completely oblivious mate.”
“Well you had us all fooled,” Wormtail chimed again.
“Shut it Pete,” James scolded, “Pads, you have to tell him, we all see the way you look at him and you just bloody admitted to staring and thinking about him!“
“But what if he doesn’t feel the same?! I could never ruin our friendship like that. I wouldn’t risk it!”
“Mate, nothing you could ever say to Remus would stop him from being your friend, he’s just as equally whipped on you if you couldn’t tell.” Peter said and they all turned discreetly to look at Remus who was taking little discreet, but longing, looks at Sirius - well at least until they all turned to look at him.
“I’ll think about telling him.”
The next day they boys were all studying in the library, with James and Sirius at one table and Pete, Remus and Lily at another.
“Have you ever noticed how extremely hot Moony looks while he’s studying?” Sirius said to James, while his eyes were locked on Remus.
“Sirius, if I haven’t said it before, you’re bloody whipped. Tell him how you feel before I do it for you.”
“I will, I will! Just give me some time. Jesus.”
Back in the dorm that night Remus was passed out on his bed, after endless studying, Peter was showering, Sirius was staring at a sleeping Moony and James was getting tired of it.
“James I’m gonna faint, look at how beautiful he is,” Sirius said with a hand on his heart, while falling back into James.
“You’re telling him you love him tomorrow or I swear to Godric!” James cried.
“I am, I am!!! Lay off it man.”
The next day at breakfast..
“Moony can I talk to you a second? Please?” Sirius asked Remus, standing to leave the Great Hall.
“Uh, yeah sure Pads,” Remus said following Sirius out of the Great Hall.
“Okay so James has been bugging me the past few days to tell you about this but I don’t know how you’re going to react and I really don’t want you to hate me because your my best mate and I don’t want to lose you,” Sirius said in a rush.
Remus started to get nervous seeing how scared Sirius was.
“I could never hate you Pads, just tell me.”
“IREALLYLIKEYOUMOONY!” Sirius blurted out, and Remus stood speechless.
“Really?” was all the came from Remus’ mouth.
“Yes. I really do but please don’t hate me.”
“I don’t hate you Sirius. In fact, I really like you too.”
“WHAT? REALLY?!” Sirius yelped and before Remus could answer Sirius’ lips were on his.
“FINALLY!” James, Peter and Lily said as they walked out of the Great Hall and saw the two of them kissing.
