I am also VERY IRKED when Reid is frequently (in my experience) characterized as a dominate 25 year old season 1-2 Reid, or shy, quiet submissive post-prison season 14 Reid. I mean, sure, you can argue that post-prison Reid could have some PTSD/other issues off screen that could make him more submissive in certain situations, but it's an extreme ICK to see him characterized as a whimpering child-like submissive that needs his hand held because someone shot a gun too close to him and he got scared (I mean, come on, the man shot a 100 during his weapons requalification)
