“It’s been a long week,” I say in the middle of the day on Monday. 

It’s okay to let things go simply because you find they’re not worth your energy. Whether it’s a craft you no longer enjoy, a relationship you’re getting tired of saving on your own or an argument you’ve tried and failed to resolve. Walking away, and knowing when you should, is very valuable.

There’s a difference between being happy and being distracted from sadness

Falling back into a destructive mindset after being okay for a while is exhausting and upsetting.

when u just try so hard to make everything work and nothing works out and it’s a little frustrating but u just have to trust the lord and not try so hard to force what is not meant to be
