“Kanny where did you get all these medieval weapons” well you see I defeated the Duke of Worsestkingshireton-upon-avon in glorious battle and claimed his lands as my own and I broke into his castle armory and now I’ve got all these cool toys to use on bigots. I do this every Monday.
Long ramble about The Amazing Digital Circus to get my thoughts straight about what I think of it.
THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE FINALE OF THE SHOW
Some notes: I am trans but not transfeminized. I use she/her for Jax within this post. I do not mind if you use he/him for her, as those are the pronouns used within the show.
So I went to the cinema with my best friend, his partner and my siblings. I do not regret going as 1. I really love the show and 2. I love hanging out with my friends and we had a good time.
I do have mixed feelings about supporting Goosworx, because she's racist and misogynistic. And I do not want to support someone who's racist. But I did like the show and see my previous points.
I did like the finale!!! Mostly! My favourite character is Caine and I loved that he got a good ending. My least favourite character is Jax and I hated how much attention she got in this entire show.
My favourite scene of the finale is Gangle being happy Jax died and having complex emotions on his death.
My least favourite part was Jax.
And then Gooseworx. Ugghhhh.
Why did Jax exist?? Why didn't she get an arc?? What was the point of her abusing every women in the cast??
Why does Jax genuinly feel like a transmisogynistic stereotype despite being written by a trans women?? Jax is an incel who hates women and get to abuse them without any consequenses; that's literal transmisogyny or am I crazy??
Anyways.
Story wise I liked it! (except for the Jax plot, altho I liked some aspects of it, it was too long and see previous points). I liked Pomni and Ragatha's talk. I liked Gangle's mixed emotions. I liked Caine! (he's my favourite). I liked Kinger and Pomni's father daughter dinamic getting some attention.
Overall I did like this show.
But I have mixed feelings on it. Again because Gooseworx is racist and that sucks. I hate how the fandom is also racist.
I dislike Jax and how much attention she got throughout the entire series.
I wished Gangle and Zooble got more attention because I really love these characters and they deserved better. (not even talking about the fact they are canonically poc? with no representation?? like they were white until the last episode?)
I wished Pomni and Ragatha got more attention because Pomni is the main character and in some ways she didn't feel like it (because Jax was the true main character..). I wished we got so see more of this beautiful friendship between two women characters. I wish the fandom to be less fucking misogynistic towards Ragatha :)
I hate all the ships, except for Gangle x Zooble. (keep in mind i am an romance repulsed aro who hates shipping anything and everything). I also like pomni x ragatha though :)
I did like none of the ships got canon though, that just seems like smart fandom-oriented writing.
Ribbit is also a character I REALLY liked. I related to them quite a bit. I hated how the narrative treated her. I hated how Jax treated her :) don't we love.. white woman abusing brown woman.... (fucking no).
I wished we got more Ribbit. More Pomni. More Ragatha. More Gangle. More Zooble. More Kinger. More Kaufma even. I liked these characters.
I am happy we got some Caine action and I cannot complain about that. But I know Gangle and Zooble would be my favourites if THE SHOW ACTUALLY CARED ABOUT THEM.
This was my ramble about how I hate Jax.
I love to see trans women in media. And I love seeing trans women do bad things within media, because trans women aren't perfect. But seeing as she was written by a racist and misogynistic trans women, her wrongs weren't just character flaws. They were bigotry bleeding through the writing.

Kinda sick and tired of people treating racism like it’s no big deal, and specifically especially sick and tired of people blindly crying “transmisogynistic harassment” whenever someone criticizes their favorite white trans woman for her racism.
More people are talking about TADC’s leaks in sympathy for Gooseworx than they are about her being silent on how she participated in racist jokes other than implying it was not “genuine” racism. Nobody seems to bring up Patricia “I am also limited in my ability to racially oppress due to being trans and disabled” Taxxon’s consistent racism, despite her becoming relevant again due to the latest incident with Hbomberguy. A lot of popular transfem bloggers on Tumblr have a history of racism too, but God forbid you bring it up.
I feel fucking crazy. What happened to “you are white before you are anything else”? So many popular trans women on here are specifically white trans women who you’re not allowed to point out have said racist shit that they still stand by, or you’re the bad person. You’re overreacting. You’re harassing a poor innocent white woman over nothing that actually matters, and you need to touch grass and learn what a real problem is. These women are allowed to wield their white woman tears by crying about how oppressed they are and how hard their lives are and how everybody is out to get them when criticized for racism, and people just BUY IT?? Not just buy it, but ENFORCE IT, harass others who DON’T buy it, accuse the ones who don’t buy it of, and I quote, LYNCHING her.
White trans women are not less likely to be racist than any other type of white person, but they’re treated like they are, and the notion they could be racist is treated as inherently ridiculous, defamatory, and transmisogynistic.
I think that some people need to come to grips with the fact that some of these women are blatantly, openly racist, and hide behind their disabilities/mental illnesses and their transness. We cannot be positioning white trans women as an authority on all systems of oppression, because white trans women are not the modern martyr for the oppressed voice. Black trans women have felt everything they have, 100 times worse. White trans women’s suffering is real, but suffering as a white woman is just so much different. And if we want the trans community to be safe for POC, we need to start actually calling racism from trans people out, instead of being the girl who cried transmisogynistic harassment campaign.
But this is the website that says a term coined by a Black trans woman to call out racism from white members of the transfem community is inherently transmisogynistic (even a transmisogynistic slur) and should never be used. So maybe I’m just talking to a (very racist) brick wall here.
if u call urself a misandrist I'm going to assume ur homophobic. I'm gonna assume that ur at the very least weird about trans women like me, that you're going to judge them based on how they pass, on how out they are, on what level of transition they are at. I'm gonna assume ur racist too. like. idk "misandry" very feels like the sorta "feminism" someone is really into when they're in high school and carefully making sure to never think about anything.

too many people have the idea that racism is a nothingburger thing. like. people die from that. it’s not “cancel culture” to call out racism. and if you’re white and you say anything close to that you have some serious self-reflecting to do. idc if you’re a content creator. idc if “it could happen to you.” having a platform on the internet and saying stupid bullshit doesn’t make you more oppressed than the marginalized groups you’re criticizing for being upset
those people who say that it's somehow not privileged to be able to go vegan. i cant cook, so i need those microwave meals. i cant afford the vegan ones. i cant go vegan because i cant cook or afford the options i could do.

It’s so funny to hear it from people who start off by saying, "We support intersex people!", only to then turn around and claim that being intersex is a "mutation," that intersex people can be neatly divided into "men" and "women," that self-discovery is "invalid," or that if your variation doesn't cause you health issues, you're "not actually intersex"—and other such nonsense.
Last month, in a queer community, I shared my trans and cis experiences, which are tied to my intersex and neurodivergent lived experience. Someone reposted my message to an exclusionist queer channel that supposedly "supports" intersex people. They wrote that no intersex person would ever call themselves "cis+trans," calling it a "disgrace" to the community. They also claimed that unless a doctor has confirmed it, I can’t call myself intersex. On top of that, they called me a 12-year-old girl who's just "attention-seeking"—even though I’m almost 19, and my age was literally listed in my profile.
I just want to say that your "support" for intersex people vanishes the exact moment our actual lived experience becomes inconvenient for you or doesn't fit into your binary worldview.
From Snow White’s cherry-red lipstick to the balloon sleeves on Ariel’s wedding gown, every Disney princess reflects the trends of their debut era, even though many of them take place during some nebulous history period.

Fourth in my Disney pride installment! It’s these iconic girls 💖
I’m not romani or muslim so feel free to educate me if I got anything wrong or fell into bad stereotypes! I’ll be the first to admit I have a blind spot for some of these but I still want to do the best I can for you all 😊
