By the way, Jax also has mommy issues! You should feel bad for Jax!".

It feels like the whole scene is about wanting us to know that Jax also had a bad relationship with his mother and then Goos didn't know how the rest should react to Ragatha talking about her trauma, so after they were done with making us feel bad for Jax, they made the scene go like this:

You wanna know what would be really funny??? We should start a trend: A character says something traumatic about their past (or even a mild inconvenience would be funny too), and we cut to Jax having an uncomfortable reaction because it turns out she also has that same trauma.
