Challenge SIX!! Get excited!!! Again you know the drill where I give you a little prompt and I see how you all go with it. Don't feel like it needs to be literal, go with what's in your heart.
Prompt: Seasons
How it works:
Minimum 1k fic/writing OR 1 piece of art (which could be any of the following: drawing, podfic, poetry, graphic or fanmix) based on the prompt
Post completed works during the month anytime before midnight July 31st according to your time zone.
If posting to AO3 please tag works as 'femslash big bang monthly challenge' and add it to the AO3 collection (linked below). This makes it much easier to find works and confirm they're appropriate for the collection.
The round up post will be posted about a week later on August 7th
All Fandoms AND original works allowed, just so long as the main ship is femslash - see FAQ below or send an ask if you need anything clarified :)

Posted by: toothpastepancake Sapphic summer 2026 is here and it's my second year running it! Come have fun with us. This runs from Jun 7-Sept 15, 2026. Basic rules: -Fic is limited to 100-250 words. -For other mediums use your best judgment for equivalence. I suggest, but am happy to hear counterarguments for the following limits: podfic 100-250 words read, icons/graphics/gifs 1-3 images, art as a sketch. -Any rating, including unrated, is acceptable. -Any f/f(/f+) ship from any fandoms - more specifically, characters that canonically identify as female. While genderswap works are lovely, the goal of this event is to promote preexisting ladies. -After filling one prompt, you may post up to three prompts. You may post three prompts for each fill you make, but prompts should always be in replies to prompt comments and contain a fill. See previous rounds for example. Prompts will be compiled on a prompts post for easy viewing; fills will be compiled on a post also! T-minus: three weeks! Get your permission slips signed, kids: we’re headed to the beach! We know it can take a minute to find your commenting sea legs, so we’ve created a one-size-fits-all bingo card, new for round 3 of Be A Goldfish, to guide you on your voyage.

Full-size cards in both colour and printer-friendly black and white available in our RuleDoc. We have made an effort to make each square broadly applicable and somewhat open to interpretation. However, if we reach the end of the event and there are squares that genuinely cannot be met, consider them a free space! Mark them off for any comment on any work. If you get a bingo or a blackout, you’ll earn a special token!
