I cannot stress this enough this is literally in her debut arc. not to mention the immediate distrust and the stalking and telling her to go home when she just helped him which obviously led her to showing up herself because what did you THINK would happen since this teenager has already proven herself willing to go out in a homemade suit with homemade gear, implying a massive amount of commitment

Poor girl, they meet years later during her short time as Robin, and he's auto furious with her because she's not his Robin 😭. That had to be a bit of a heartbreak.

Batgirl (2009-2011) #2 - Slashes to left shoulder and left inner bicep, 2 slashes to right outer bicep, right side lower waist, left side outer thigh.

Batgirl (2009-2011) #3 - Slashes on each inner thigh, left side waist, right shoulder, and scalpel stab to top left shoulder.

Batgirl (2009-2011) #5 - Bullet graze right temple.

Batgirl (2009-2011) #12 - Laser burns to left outer bicep, right outer thigh.

Batgirl (2009-2011) #16 - Falls and hits beam with back of left shoulder, dislocates, wears sling afterwards.

like. I’m talking Bat insignia on her Spoiler costume, on her utility belt, the bat-shaped soles on her boots, adds little bat ears to the hood of her Spoiler costume and the headband of her Robin costume, she ties her hair back for patrol with hair ties that match her color scheme, even if her hair isn’t visible in costume.

She also would wear bat-themed things out of costume, I think. (It’s not like it’s weird, I imagine. Even if there’s no official Bat merch there’s tons of knockoffs, not to mention not-explicitly-merch bat-themed stuff) She has tights with bats on them, she’s made bracelets themed around her friends hero personas, she has a little red bird-shaped hair clip. She might even get a bat-shaped tattoo.
