Genuinely I have to separate myself from what happened to me so I can look into it, the kid isn't me and what she went through didn't happen to me so it's ok for me to think about what happened and remember everything and over time I'm kinda slowly accepting that we're the same person working to see her as myself as best I can. Idk if that's good advice but it genuinely saved me from killing myself over what happened to me
