I'm trying to draw some "models" as basic references when I'm creating a new page of my crossover story.
I hope it will help me save time and headaches, since I'm always conflicted on what image to choose, because characters can change a lot from manga to anime and from one screenshot to another.
This is my attempt for Kikyo. I want to draw her hair in so many ways, but I'm afraid that she would be completely unrecognizable š¢
In the anime the upper part of her eyes is more squared, but sometimes they change shape too... Pff, it's a difficult world
Iām surprised. The infamous scene where Inuyasha and Kikyo embrace is so different. In the original manga chapter itās filled with such love and sincerity, but the anime scene is more angsty since Kikyo pulled a knife on Inuyasha and was still evil at the time. I prefer the manga version. To be honest if they kept the original scene than it wouldāve made more sense why Inuyasha would choose Kikyo. Plus it seems she was returning to being good a lot earlier in the manga. The anime scene however, it just doesnāt make sense to me cause I just canāt get over howĀ Inuyasha would still pick Kikyo even after what she did to him.

Hello, iāve been financially struggling lately, this is embarrassing and i didnāt want to make a post about it because i feel so ashamed but please if you could help me out with at least $1 that would mean a lot!
why do some ppl get mad that anime is going mainstream š "it ruins the show" no it doesn't, authors are the one that decides the plot. and if you're talking about some weirdshit fanarts it's been there since the beginning of days. nothing new, and i probs seen worse. don't search rule 34. "i got bullied for watching it i don't want it to go mainstream" im sorry but stop projecting your trauma to other people. did you know that majority of animators and anime studios are underpaid? one of the reasons why there's no season 2 of your favorite anime although it's mainstream is bc majority watch it on pirate sites which doesn't equal to the amount of views=wage for animators. that's why anime going mainstream is actually a good thing so while that happens promote LEGAL SITES so animators/anime studios will get the bag they deserve.
example is this anime is mainstream but ppl watch it on pirate sites the company will consider it underrated and will not spare some budget because the views on legal sites are low. I have a friend who is an animator and works in Japan and her pay is minimum wage with that effort. It is sad, but she can't leave because its her passion. I'm posting this because she explained this to me while having a mental breakdown.
pls pay for it, before you buy any anime merchandise pay for legal sites first. you're literally helping the official animator aka the mom/dads of our fave anime character. your fave anime will thank you.
my only problem is that some sites is not available in my country, so I try my best to look for one.
ps: this is for people who can actually pay for it. I get that some of us are broke, but let's help our animators by promoting legal sites.
