Guide to Getting Your High School Crush to Notice You, 101: a Nanami Kento/(Fem)Reader fic. it's more of a feel-good fic than anything that tackles two friends who very obviously liked either for a long time and then navigate their first actual relationship. there's smut, fluff, yearning, and it's set in the JJK universe.
Love Potion No. 5: a Gojo Satoru/(Fem)Reader fic. it's also kind of like a feel-good fic, more slice of life though and fluffier than how much smut is in my Nanami fic. it's like strangers to friends to lovers ordeal over the course of a year and it's also set in JJK universe.
Blackout: a Vergil/(Fem)Reader fic. it's short and it's just basically me writing something fun over what Vergil might've been doing before he stabbed himself and rose the Qliphoth tree. it's ending probably won't be what people expect either lol.
Paroxysm: a Dante/(Fem)Reader fic. it's a horror, murder mystery, angsty fic that i've had plans to do for such a long time because it genuinely fits Dante the most. it's also something i plan to write how i think a relationship would go down with Dante and how someone could easily become completely dependent on him as well. it will also probably have an ending people won't expect.
Snakes and Ladders: a Vergil/(Fem)Reader fic. it's horror, it's porn with plot, it's about accepting yourself for who you are, opening yourself up to someone and learning to actually love after so many years of distress. more lust to love to anything with my very own plot and lore i threw in that i hope makes sense and brings more depth to DMC even if it isn't canon.
Imagining the angst potential of Vergil having feelings for Dante's S/O or vice versa... pondering mine orb...
i like this more than love triangles because (unpopular opinion alert maybe) i don't think either Vergil or Dante would tolerate a love triangle with anyone and definitely not between the other brother. petty jealously definitely happens but that's how they are, but i genuinely cannot see them willingly sitting in some sort of love triangle 😭😭😭
that brings me to the point that if one brother liked the other brother's s/o, they'd take that shit to the grave because they care about their feelings too much to try and come between them 🤷🏻♀️

Tbh i’ve only ever been bothered when the reader is named or super described. I LOVE when they get a juicy backstory for me to get into. Buuuuut that might be because I usually insert an oc in my brain instead of myself lol.
right like if i go into a reader fic i'm expecting to not have a name (or if they get creative and manage to create a nickname that only has to do with an action rather than from a description of you that's perfectly fine), and not have any like references to what my hair or skin looks like (one time i read a fic that kept emphasizing my "small breasts" and i have a whole DD rack on me), but i love when the reader-inserts have a backstory and set background because you can easily insert anyone there.
idk i hate blank slates and one that don't do anything but sit on their ass like omg make me interesting

Like yes, it's valid when people tag what is very obviously oc x character as reader x character.
I think that, along with people not understanding fandom etiquette, people just being miserable fucks and people thinking it's their way or the highway it has made the fanfic/fandom space not fun and quite toxic.
It makes me sad tbh. I remember being a teenager and fandom was so fun and full of whimsy and people who just wanted to share/talk about a media they loved.
Now it's just "if you don't notice every single microscopic detail you're a fake fan" or "if you don't write/draw/or post a certain way than you're either
A. a dumbass because if you've been in the fandom this long, why didn't you know that?
B. a dumbass because even though you've only seen the first four episodes, you're still expected to know inside jokes/details like people who have finished the media.
It's why I've made it a point to really only interact with fandom on Tumblr, and even THEN it's with maybe 10 people I'm friends with and 20 moots who have the same interest in a character I do.
Sometimes I'm genuinely shocked that fandom is still alive and well purely because people are so damn mean.
yeah, as someone who grew up reading on Fanfiction.net that doesn't allow second POV fics, i never really saw the issue with OCs because i spent most of my life and longer reading those rather than reader-inserts. like yeah i get it if it's very obviously an OC with a name and appearance and it's tagged as "Reader" then it's usually them wanting more attention or mistagged on accident, but all you have to say is remove the tag lmao. you can go through any "x reader" tag on here for whatever and i guarantee the top posts aren't fics at all, its people complaining about what the fics are or where to find them, or mad about how people write like omg no wonder no one wants to post LMAOOO. yeah, i don't get it, like sometimes i will read OC fics because people make the Readers in self-inserts genuinely aggravating

ngl if i did it’d have to be an OC fic. AOT feels like it has too much to it to throw a reader-insert in and somehow claim you’re special and strong enough to make it without delving way too deep into a background and character lmao. and i would but people love to tussle over OCs for some reason and claim they suck (they don’t at all) but it has crossed my mind a few times

The latest chapter revealed so much now that I’m rereading all the chapters again for the millionth time. The way that witches were able to control demons was because the demons themselves used to be human but I’m guessing with some weird ritual or spell, caused onto the tourist they kidnapped made them into demons.
That explains a lot, especially the hidden pictures inside of that red room, the Halloween party when literally all those people dancing are demons, and even just some of the demon encounters Mc and Vergil came across.
And I’m wondering, the same ritual or spell they did to the previous humans, were they gonna do something like that if they ever caught mc? But instead of turning her into a demon they more so sedate her?
it's kind of more-so they become one with demons. two minds in a body before their conscious is taken over, but yes you are right. they can control them more easily because they were once human. and no, there was a whole other plan with MC in mind

tbh it'd probably stay the same, just with MC holding that over his head instead but it's pretty much the same lmao. i think what would change the most is the first chapter and how they get to where they were at the end. it'd just be MC holding it over his head and teasing him that if he needed any help, she would give him a hand (HA) and then we'd lead into that lmao

i actually don't care for it lmao. idk it might be how a lot of it's written out that just turns me off, but i've never really liked the idea of going through heat in any fandom i've been in 😭
