A very quick time laps of my creative process.
BRITAN ART Jewelry by BUREAU BUMBLEBEE
A series of screenshots depicting graphical glitches. Just something aesthetic to enjoy really. The ambiguity is what drives these to be interesting, providing enough visual activity to draw attention to themselves.
some renders using Affinity Designer.
First exploration into visual communication and the digitalisation of my current interests and ideas.
I would love feedback

delving into digital collage; mixture of my paper works, digital layering and drawing.
I’m going to explore this medium further; digitalising art seems relatively accessible given that i’m surrounded my technology and digital mediums.
An exploration of composition, surface and layering. The journey of this particular style started with the investigation of layering paper, removing and adding layers.

Finally, i’ve gotten around to posting my work online via Saatchi online.
I’m happy that I have a way of displaying my work online, it’s hopefully not only going to bring in some money, but also more valuable exposure.
more of the series
Here are some quick compositions that i’ve worked on. Primarily focusing on the process of layering and interlinking paper, using the same piece repetitiously and recycling the image.

Paintings by Amsterdam-based artist Daniel Mullen
Daniel Mullen born 1985 in Glasgow, Scotland. As a child he was fascinated by constructed space, this in combination with Lego became the playground for his imagination. This fascination continued through his time at the Edinburgh Rudolf Steiner school, where he graduated in 2003.
After Completing a gap year in America (working with special needs) Mullen returned to Europe and headed to Amsterdam to study art at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. Whilst studying there he rediscovered his passion for architecture, subsequently leading to his first Series of highly representational paintings based on modern architecture.
After his graduation in 2011 Mullen continued to develop his work, slowly introducing abstraction in search of a more open interpretation, with an nod to the past but an emphasis on defining the boundaries of his universe. Follow him on Facebook and SaatchiArt.

new stuff
As my current article is about mobile photography, it couldn't be more fitting that I start a small project. I really want to explore what my new iPhone can do; with the endless amount of apps out there, and great scenery, combined it could be something great.
I need a thematic to allow me to generate some sort of coherence between the images.
My second thought is how I decide to present said photographs; purely online or physically?

Degree show
My experience of the Degree show was mostly ambivalent. There is a multitude of very strong work on show, which has indeed demonstrated the dedication and perseverance of some very passionate students. The more prominent works were rightfully popular, as they drew in an attentive audience. The sheer diversity in the show is what solidified the impact it delivered, not just from the Fine Art department, but also the volumes of work from Photography, Visual Communication and the Fashion and Textiles department. I found the sheer volume overwhelming, especially in order to focus on a particular work, the works that did stand out were immediately impactful.
From my own work, I found it was overlooked, the positioning and curation of the show didn't work in my benefit (which it doesn't necessarily have to), the surrounding works were larger and drew attention to themselves. The degree didn't allow sound based works to flourish, given there were restrictions in terms of volume and duration. Propagation is a self referential sound piece which delivers its impact through its perpetuity, this being restricted by the regulations set in the show.
Overall, the show was great, it clearly demonstrated the dedications of the more passionate students, in areas it was let down by the less attentive students.
Propagation as a CD; there are 25 copies for viewers in the Degree show to take. I'm torn at the moment as to wether to charge or not..
