Chaggie Adoption AU Redo
This is a redo of my first idea as I feel I could add to it and make it better so here it is. For anyone who likes it can use it. It’s been a year since Lilith Morningstar has disappeared and Lucifer has locked himself away from the world. Their Daughter Charlie Morningstar is alone both physically and mentally except for her bodyguards Razzle and Dazzle. She’s just moping in her house when she feels a rush of energy and the faint sound of chanting. She finds herself in a room full of people chanting wearing black robes emblazoned with a pentagram. She looks down and sees a summoning circle drawn in what she assumes is lambs blood with its owner dead at her feet. She rolls her eyes, annoyed she’s being summoned like her parents plus aunts and uncles. The leader is surprised she’s a woman, earning an eye roll from the princess, but announces that the daughter of Satan is here and will fulfill their wish for power and wealth. Charlie doesn’t even bother trying to correct him. He tells them to bring up the offering.
He’s handed a basket and offers it to Charlie who takes it. What she sees inside shocks her. It’s a tiny likely newborn baby girl that’s thankfully asleep. The cult leader asks if she would like it whole or just her soul. Realising what he means Charlie gets angrier than she ever has but rather than a raging inferno it’s like ice. She asks where they got her from and the leader reveals that two of their members had her solely for the sacrifice to her. At this Charlie is enraged. She’s a forgiving, compassionate and loving woman. But she can’t forgive those who hurt children least of all a fucking baby. Charlie uses a spell she never thought she’d ever have to use. Soulfyre. It unleashes a flame that not only burns the body but the soul as well. The cultists don’t have time to scream as the fire spreads fast enough they don’t even feel as they are burned from existence. Aside from the basement having caught aflame, there’s nothing left except Charlie in her full demon form holding the baby. Charlie just stands there shocked at what she did but not ashamed. She’s pulled out of her thoughts as she hears a cooing sound. The little girl is awake and rather being afraid of Charlie’s horns, tail or black red eyes she’s smiling happily up at her. Charlie smiles down at her and retracts her demon form, nuzzling the little darling in front of her feeling wonderful she lets out sweet laughter. Not knowing what else to do she returns to hell with the baby. When she arrives Razzle and Dazzle are curious to know where she went but stop seeing the baby. Charlie promises to explain but asks them to go out to get some baby powder, wipes and diapers along with some dinner as she’s starving. They salute and leave.
She can feel the baby getting upset and realises why when they suck then spit her finger out. She casts a spell that allows her to breastfeed her, then pulls out of one of her breasts. The baby latches on easily and begins suckling hard. Charlie simply smiles at them and strokes her hair. When she’s done Charlie burps her and holds her as she falls asleep smiling at how innocent and beautiful she looks. After Razzle and Dazzle return with the supplies and food. She puts her in a fresh diaper and after eating takes her to bed as she’s exhausted. She places the baby on her chest smiling as they snuggles into her chest. She has to get up 3 times that nights once to change her, once to sing her back to sleep and finally a feed. Charlie tired but the way they held and looked at her like they’re the only thing that matters made her feel something warm and fuzzy. After waking up to first change then feed the baby she goes down for breakfast. After having a strong coffee and some pancakes she calls her aunt Belphegor. Before she’s even finished Bel has teleported into the kitchen. She haves the baby a physical and uses her magic. She finds out the baby is only 2 days old. Charlie tells her how she got them. Bel applauds her and tells Charlie despite her own regrets if those people were willing to make a baby just to sacrifice it, then they would have done worse so she likely saved a lot of lives. This cheers Charlie up along with the baby laughing as they rub themselves into Bels fur. Bel asks when Charlie’s telling her dad she’s adopted a baby. Charlie looks at her confused before Bel points out she’s seen that look on parents faces for millennia regardless of blood relation. It’s the look of you’d do anything to keep them safe and happy plus Charlie would be an absolutely wonderful mother, she’s saved the kid so she’s made a great start. Charlie throws her arms around Bel crying tears of joy at the praise and support. Bel rubs her back to calm her down.
Bel before she leaves suggests she tell her dad today, she leaves after kissing the baby on the forehead and making her a diaper bag. Charlie picks her new daughter up and tells her they’re going to see grandpa. After arriving at the palace she realises just how cold and dead it feels now. Though thankfully her daughter is able to remind her she’s here for. She calls her dad and lets him know she’s in the foyer. He opens a portal and is about to hug her before he sees the baby. Lucifer freezes before he immediately starts fawning over them. He then asks what Charlie’s doing with a baby before noticing she’s human. Charlie explains about the cult and Lucifer grumbles about them having it coming the evil fucks. He then asks what she’s gonna do with the baby. Charlie tells him she’s adopting them. Lucifer freezes before trying to tell Charlie that’s not a good idea. She of course refuses to change her mind reminding him that he and mom weren’t meant to be here but that worked out fine. Lucifer says that’s different and says being a parent is difficult, though Charlie laughs pointing out he can’t talk considering he hasn’t been much of one recently. Lucifer freezes but Charlie doesn’t hold back, she points out that since mom left he simply abandoned her that’s she’s been alone, that she lost both her parents. So she can sympathise with having no one since she and her daughter are the same in that regard, so he doesn’t get to give parenting advice considering what he did. Lucifer is shocked then remorseful. He admits she’s right and he’s sorry. That it wasn’t just losing Lilith that made him this way, that it simply added onto the guilt and remorse he’s had since giving Eve the apple and watching his gift of free will be tainted. He was able to keep it together with Lilith but when she left only leaving a note saying she loved them but can’t tell them were she’s going it broke him so badly he just couldn’t keep it together. He admits she deserved a better father. Charlie does tell lucifer he was a great dad and can be again, that she still loves him and understands he’s in pain too but so is she so they can help each other. He can also be a great grandpa too. This seems to bring him out of his funk especially when the baby starts reaching for him smiling. Charlie passes the baby over and lucifer tells her it reminds him of when she was a baby, he then asks if she’s thought of a name. Charlie says Lilith, though she’ll call her Lili to distinguish them. Lucifer is surprised but smiles saying it’s a great choice.
Lucifer portals them back to Charlie’s place and brings all of her old baby stuff so she can use it for Lili. Charlie thanks him and he spends the whole day starting to repair their bond and building one with Lili. He leaves after putting Lili and Charlie to bed.
Lucifer arrives early and makes breakfast for him and Charlie, while she changes and feeds Lili. He tells her that they should tell the sins as they are family before they tell the rest. Charlie agrees and tells him Belphegor already knows as she had her check Lili over before she went to see him. Lucifer is glad to hear Bel gave her a clean bill of health. He then pulls out his phone and texts the sins that Charlie’s adopted a baby girl and they’re inviting them to see her before they officially announce it.
Within 20 minutes 2 portals one gold and one purple open in Charlie’s Foyer. Out steps from them Azmodeus and Beezlebub, arms full of gifts for the new little Morningstar. They race to Charlie after seeing her holding the baby, with Ozzy shoving Bee hard enough she goes through a wall to get to her and Lili first. Bee looks very happy but flies over glad she’s at least there before the others. They absolutely adore Lili and take turns holding/hugging her, each thinking how they can become the favourite aunt/uncle. The rest of the sins arrive.
Lili likes mammon cause his bells jingle, Leviathan cause his scales feel nice and Satan cause he feels warm. They’re jealous that Bel met her first and Lili is very happy to see her again. They’ve each brought a number of dresses, onesies and toys, though they’ve each brought a special one. Ozzy got a big stuffed rooster with a little fizzarolli toy, bee a big soft bumblebee plush, Satan a hell horse, Leviathan a dolphin, mammon a shark and bel a goat toy. She loves all of them. Each of them plans to become the favourite. Lucifer brings out a big stuffed duck that Lili loves, he says she’s really his grand daughter. He also asks Bel if she could find a therapist for him as with Charlie’s help, Lucifer realised he’s let his issues and regrets push him away from the ones he loves, so wants to do better. Bel recommends one she trusts, she and the other sins though Charlie especially are glad to see he’s trying to actually get better.
The next day lucifer announces the newest addition to the Morningstar family to hell. The fact it’s a human baby adds even more to the hysteria. Charlie finds the mansion surrounded by press and paparazzi though thanks to the magical defences plus razzle & dazzle no one gets through. It takes two weeks for things to get back to normal for Charlie to be able to go out with Lili though there’s still some paparazzi trying to snap pics of them.
Some people are jealous she gets a kid. Some trying to figure out a way to use this to their advantage. The majority are shocked then stop really caring aside from the pics in the paparazzi rags.
With Belphegors help they discover Lili was born a few days after extermination day, though they decide her birthday will be when she was adopted so the 5th of January.
In order to make sure Lili can survive in hell without them as she gets older, they decide to conduct a ritual. In it they’ll give Lili a small amount of their power that is controllable for a baby that will grow as she gets older till it’s at their own level. That way no one can hurt her in hell.
Lucifer also contacts Sera to let them know about the newest Morningstar. She’s not happy to discover theirs a human let alone a baby in hell but Lucifer points out the parents gave her to Charlie even if it was a sacrifice. Sera was also annoyed that Charlie destroyed their souls but Lucifer asks if she’s really upset over 100 scum who were going to sacrifice a baby. Sera doesn’t say anything but wishes lucifer good luck as a grandfather and to Charlie as her mother, though she’s already preparing possible contingencies.
When Lili is one she starts to out grow a lot of her baby clothes. The old royal tailor passed and her dad never bothered replacing them after mom left. She goes online and finds out Rosie the Overlord of Cannibal town does custom dresses so she decides to take a chance on her. She gives her a call and for the princess Rosie’s willing to do a house call.
When she arrives Charlie find her very sweet and friendly, she also lights up when seeing Lili and adores the baby. Rosie while doing the measurements and writing up designs reveals she killed her two husbands cause they threatened her children. The 1st was an abusive shit she only wed for his wealth, the 2nd a useless drunk. She killed her first one after nearly causing her to miscarry their baby and ate him to cover it up, the 2nd cause he nearly knocked her daughter down the stairs. She hired a maid that eventually became her lover helping her realise she was a lesbian. They died together of scarlet fever. Her lover went above while Rosie went below. Charlie commiserates but Rosie says her lover was deserving of heaven while Rosie deserved hell. Though she’s happy as she’s made cannibal town a safe place for her fellow cannibals.
Charlie due to Rosie’s warm sweet nature and the way she and Lili get along makes her trust the overlord. After reassurances that no one would harm the baby or she’d try to feed them sinner or hellborn meat Charlie visits Rosie in cannibal town with Lili. They both enjoy it as the people as are friendly and adore Lili, except Susan, the area is very clean safe and orderly plus Rosie is a great host. Rosie applauds Charlie when she tells her about the cult and says the kind who’d hurt children are complete scum so had it coming. The visits both ways become regular at least a few times a month with Charlie trusting Rosie for advice and comfort with Lili loving her auntie Rosie.
Not long after Lucifer takes Lili for the day, they start by him letting her play with his ducks, using his magic to entertain her and takes her flying, which she loves. Though he then remembers he’s got a meeting with Carmilla Carmine. Not wanting to cancel as he’s trying to be a more involved king or give up time with his little duckling, simply takes her with him.
Carmilla, her daughters and Zestial are shocked to see Lucifer walk in with his granddaughter in a baby carrier. He apologised as he forget he had this meeting before he took her for the day. Carmilla tries to go along with the meeting, though everyone can tell her eyes are drawn to the baby. They discuss the sale of her arms through the other rings and any that might’ve gone missing from their owners and how to track them down.
Lucifer has to leave for a few minutes abdominal hands Lili to Carmilla. While she’s at first surprised the overlord smiles as she holds her close and the baby starts grabbing her long fingers. She then starts talking to her sweetly in Spanish. Carmilla doesn’t realise she’s doing it till she sees her daughters smiling at her with Zestial also smiling a little. Lucifer comes in and as the meetings over prepares to leave. Before he does Clara offers to watch Lili if he or Charlie are ever busy, winking at her mom who quickly understands her meaning. He thinks about it and decides to take her up on it as he’s known the carmines a while and they’re pretty trust worthy for overlords.
It’s the extermination before Lili’s 2nd birthday. Charlie is preparing to head out to help any injured sinners, Lili is at her dads as the exorcists avoid the palace and she doesn’t want her to hear the screams. Just as Charlie leaves her mansion she sees something shocking. There’s an injured exorcist in her garden unconscious and unmasked. She moves towards them cautiously expecting a possible ambush. As she gets closer she notices that aside from the gouged out eye, she’s the most beautiful woman the princess has ever seen. After hearing her groaning/whimpering in pain she did what seemed right. The princess picked up the injured angel, doing her best to avoid hurting her wings and picked up her spear with her tail then returning to the mansion.
Vaggie only remembered kicking Lute back then flying away after she gouged out her eye. She flew without thinking and then passed out. But now she’s in a soft warm bed, her eye is bandaged and she’s naked except a white negligee. She finds her spear pressed against the wall. She still feels too weak to do much of anything. She then hears the door open. In walks the king of hell, the fallen angel Lucifer Morningstar and who must be his daughter Princess Charlie Morningstar. Vaggie thinks she’s going to die.
Charlie is the first to speak asking how she is and promising that they’re not going to hurt her. Vaggie’s only thought is just how beautiful she is like the pictures they showed them in heaven. After making sure she’s ok Charlie kind of dances around the question till Lucifer just asks her straight who took her eye and why she’s here. Vaggie tells them how she spared a cannibal child sinner, her ex Lute saw her and gouged out her eye. She managed to kick them away but lute mated to pull her Halo off her before she flew away, she kept flying till the pain and shock caused her to pass out.
Charlie and Lucifer are silent till the princess throws her arms around Vaggie in a tight hug and says she’s so sorry that happened, crying in sympathy and rage. Lucifer is pissed as well as promising to speak to Sera as what they did broke a lot of their own rules about judging and falling angels. Vaggie is shocked but likes the hug from Charlie.
Over the next day Charlie takes care of Vaggie bringing her food and drinks, doing what she can to make her comfortable as well as checking her eye and changing the bandages.
On the 2nd day Vaggie feels strong enough to leave her room. She follows Charlie’s voice to the kitchen and watches as she cooks breakfast while singing. Though she’s soon surprised to feel something touching her foot and cooing. It’s a human toddler. Charlie hears Vaggie and goes over to pick up Lili while being happy to see her up and about. Vaggie is actually speechless at seeing Charlie cuddling the child and making them smile and laugh, which she describes as a beautiful sight. She then remembers why she has a baby based on the briefing they had nearly 2 years ago about the princesses new kid, Vaggie remembered admiring her for both saving and adopting the child. She joins them for breakfast and Lili takes a liking to the former exorcist. The princess and Angel spend the day together with Charlie also loving the sight of Vaggie playing with and looking after Lili, she reveals she had siblings in heaven plus a few nieces and nephews.
After putting Lili to bed Charlie tells her how she got her, something that they weren’t told in heaven. Vaggie is shocked someone as sweet as Charlie could be so brutal but admits it was deserved, telling Charlie what she did saved a lot of other people especially kids. That she was an angel of retribution rescuing a baby from an evil cult and punished them. Charlie is touched, while people have told her she did the right thing but comparing her to an angel, especially from another angel makes her feel even better and very warm on the inside. She hugs Vaggie actually picking her up off the ground before putting her down. Vaggie really liked it, though Charlie apologises and runs to her room blushing, Vaggie also walks to bed smiling and blushing.
Charlie gets up to deal with Lili when she starts crying twice that night, but Vaggie got there each time and after either changing her or calming her down managed to get Lili back to sleep by singing to her in Spanish. Charlie feels her heart nearly burst.
At Lilis birthday Vaggie meets the sins. She gets along best with Ozzy and her with Satan respecting her as a former exorcist, Bel gives her some medicine to help deal with the pain from her eye which she appreciates al lot. They along with Lucifer can see Charlie and Vaggie have feelings for each other so bet on when they’ll get together. They also see how Lili seems to love Vaggie and vice versa so like her more. Rosie, the Carmines and Zestial couldn’t attend as they were cleaning up their territories with Carmilla still scavenging Angelic weapons.
Vaggie decides to stay with Charlie and acts as her impromptu bodyguard with Lucifer paying her a fortune for it. She continues to bond with both Charlie and Lili. A few weeks after her birthday Lili says her first words. She calls Charlie mommy which makes the princess cry tears of joy. And then Vaggie Mama, which surprises both women but neither has any issue with it. The bond between the small family grows over the next year. She also once she feels strong enough starts taking them flying with her wings, she finds Charlie and Lili’s screams and laughs of joy during it to be the most wonderful sound in the world. Her wings also start to change as they go from grey and a bit black to pure white along with getting bigger, lucifer simply explains it’s as being free from heavens rules and feeling free so her wings reflect that.
Vaggie was at first uneasy about Charlie and Lili going to cannibal town but trusted her. Rosie was a nice surprise as despite being a cannibal she was a genuinely sweet and reliable confidant to Charlie and a loving aunt to Lili. Rosie also saw the feelings between the two and is waiting for them to become a couple. Rosie’s shop is where they got her Bow and it was picked out by Lili, which is why Vaggie cherishes it so much. Also after finding out Vaggie let a cannibal kid go and re-uniting them she become quite popular in cannibal town and Rosie became fond of her.
Carmilla also surprised Vaggie. Despite being an overlord that deals in Angelic weapons often scavenged from dead sinners, treats Lili like a doting grandmother. She was also surprised that Carmilla figured she was an exorcist, pointing out the spear and X across her eye made it easy embarrassing Vaggie. Carmilla could see that Vaggie along with being a talented fighter and loyal woman was also hurt and needing guidance. So she offered to train with her to keep her skills sharp which after some hesitation Vaggie agreed. Carmilla was glad as the former exorcist reminded her of her daughters when she first found them, lost and in need of guidance. Plus if this girl was gonna be the mama to her nieta she’d need to be able to keep her safe. The training helps Vaggie get back into fighting shape and burn off stress, she also ends up becoming quite close to the carmines, plus Zestial.
Vaggie also makes a good argument to Charlie that she should learn how to use her magic better, offensively and defensively, in order to protect Lili plus teach her when she’s older. Charlie agrees and starts learning from her dad, she also has Vaggie teach how to fight with her pitchfork and unarmed. They both enjoy it as it allows them to get close to each other in an acceptable way.
Charlie and Vaggie are also teaching Lili as Charlie and Lucifer agreed that along with their being few schools in pride plus the fact she was a human, it’d be safer if she was homeschooled. So Vaggie, Charlie and Lucifer teach her how to read, write spell and basic addition with the more advanced stuff as she gets older. Lucifer helps her with magic, Ozzie with singing and dancing, Bee with cooking and baking, Mammon with money and finances, Satan with physical activities plus handling animals, Bel biology and science with Leviathan teaching her how to read people, their motivations and how to get what she wants. Rosie teaches her how to sew and listen to gossip to learn information. Carmilla how to fight. By the time of the pilot and S1 Lili is more knowledgeable than some adults are. Carmilla and Vaggie also teach her Spanish as it’s nice being able to communicate in it, Vaggie later starts teaching Charlie too.
After Vaggies 1st extermination they pick Lili up from lucifer’s after looking for survivors and put her to bed. Charlie and Vaggie stay up to talk over some wine. They talk about their 1st year together as friends while raising Lili together. They start off friendly but the more they drink the more honest they get. Charlie ends up just kissing Vaggie who returns it and then carries her up to the princesses room. They get into bed then pass out. Lili wakes them up and calm her down after a nightmare. They talk a bit more sober and admit their feelings. That they are in love with each other and want a relationship. Vaggie reveals she loves Charlie’s kindness, compassion and gentleness but also strength especially in how she adopted Lili and has been a wonderful mother to her. Charlie loves how Vaggie has become a much better person, that she’s strong and loyal but a gentle and loving mom to Lili since she arrived. They decide to start their romantic relationship.
A few days later on Lili’s birthday they ask her what her wish was after blowing out her candles with the sins, Lucifer, the Carmines and Zestial plus Rosie at Charlie’s mansion. Lili says she already got it cause Mommy and Mama kissed. Lucifer, Ozzy and Bee cheer while the others groan pulling out cash as those 3 bet it would take a year before they got together. Charlie and Vaggie were embarrassed but glad everyone else believed in them.
Over the next three years along with raising Lili, Charlie decided to return to trying to stop the exterminations as their daughter didn’t need them as much, with Vaggie helping her. This is where they eventually come up with the idea for “the happy hotel”, a place where sinners can redeem themselves. They decided to fix up an old hotel Charlie’s family owned. Lucifer despite having gotten closer with Charlie didn’t have faith in sinners, but agreed to have the hotel fixed up and transferred them a large sum of money to help them get started.
When they found Angel he stopped being as crass once he saw Lili. She liked his outfit and how soft his fur was. Angel liked her cause she was sweet and cute plus she reminded him of his sister molly. This proved to Charlie he was the best candidate for redemption and made Vaggie rethink her attitude towards him.
The day of the interview she was staying with Rosie while her moms were at the studio. It proceeded like before but Charlie attacked Katie after she called Lili “A spoilt little orphan bitch brat!”, let’s just saw killjoy needed a few days to recover. They picked her up after Angel. Lili saying she liked her singing cheered Charlie up.
After getting back to the hotel Angel played with Lili to distract her from her mom’s being upset. Charlie goes out to call her mom like she did in the show though she also adds she’d love for her meet Lili, they’re a wonderful sweet little girl before hanging up. Charlie goes back in before Al appears. Upon hearing he’s out Vaggie actually grabs Lili and tells her when she says so, run to her room and call Lucifer, while telling Charlie not to let him in. She does and Al does his pitch, through it Lili hides as he scares her. After bringing in Husky and Niffty, Al notices Lili and introduces himself. She being terrified of him starts crying, Charlie and Vaggie rush over to calm her down, Charlie promising Al won’t hurt her while Vaggie promises she would never let him with a flare aimed his way. Al does his song then eventually takes care of Pentious. Lili loves Als jambalaya but he still scares her. For some reason Al wants her to not be scared of him.
On Lili’s 6th birthday her moms wake her up with pancakes in bed and a lot of presents, which includes a nice new dress and a bow like Vaggies that she loves. The rest of residents wish her a happy birthday though only Angel got her a present which is a stuffed Fat nuggets toy which she adores. Charlie and Vaggie take Lili to Lucifers palace for her birthday party there Lucifer proceeds to spoil her by giving her a fortune of cash, though her moms put it in a bank account for her, along with a giant stuffed toy duck which she loves. The sins, Carmines and Zestial plus Rosie. Bee gives her some candy jars full of her favourite sweets enchanted to never run out. Ozzie gets her a signed fizz toy as she’s a huge fan of his. Mammon gets her lifetime passes to Loo Loo land, much to Lucifers annoyance. Satan got her a purebred hell horse mare so they can grow up together who she adores. Bel got her a potion that will cure any sickness she might have though it’s limited. And leviathan got her a jewel encrusted tiara that she loves. Rosie got her a lovely cloak like hers with a feather in it that Lili immediately puts on. Carmilla got her a necklace made of Angellic steel, which the girl loves. She also tells her moms there’s hidden blade she can use to protect herself, Charlie is uneasy but Vaggie appreciates it and promises to teach Lili how to use. Clara gets her some new shoes while Odetter made her an eye lens that can hack any system and display info for her. She loves both gift. Zestial brought her a tea set he’s had since he arrived and decided to give to her which Lili adores. Lili has a wonderful birthday as does her family. They get back late with all her gifts while she’s sleeping tired from all the fun she had.
Lili becomes friendly with nifty despite finding her a bit creepy and enjoys her roach puppet shows. Husk despite trying to be a gruff old cat has a soft spot for the kid and doesn’t mind her touching his wings or tail, along with making her booze free cocktails to drink.
For Episode 1 Charlie is reading the story of Hell to Lili who hopes she can meet her grandma, her mom reassures her Lilith would love her. Vaggie collects Charlie for the commercial Al made while Lili stays in her room studying with them letting her know they’ll help if she’s having trouble.
Charlie leaves for the embassy with Lili waving as she dances away. After she’s done studying she tries to help mama with the commercial, Angel doesn’t flirt with husk after seeing her there as he knows Vaggie doesn’t want her hearing anything adult, so it goes better. Lili also distracts Nifty by asking her how clean the rooms are while Vaggie is out of sight with the camera. It still isn’t great so Vaggie agrees with Al for his help, Lili is still scared of him but doesn’t break down crying at the sight of him.
At the embassy Charlie upon discovering who she’s meeting it takes a lot of effort to avoid blowing up at them for what they did to Vaggie. She tries using what Vaggie told her about heaven to make a good case, though it doesn’t help. She keeps her cool till she snaps after Adam insults Lili while he’s doing Hell is forever. After getting informed about the shortened extermination and kicked out she returns home to an excited Lili and happy Vaggie who tell her about the new commercial they did which lifts her spirits especially finding out Lili helped. It’s ruined when the new extermination is announced.
In episode 2 Lili is studying in her room when Pentious attacks and then playing with Razzle and Dazzle while her moms are out looking for new recruits. During the V’s meeting they discuss Lili. Vel wants to use her as a model since she’s not only a human child but the kings granddaughter so anything she wore would sell. Vox anything she’s in would be a number 1 show. Val you can guess what that dirty fuck wants.
When Pentious arrives she along with Charlie are the most welcoming, thanks to Lucifer she loves snakes and hugs him, while telling him how cool his machines are. This makes him very happy. Lili also notices Angel is upset and tries to help which he appreciates. When Pentious is caught she wakes up with her moms. She joins Charlie in the Sorry song. Pentious starts letting Lili help on his less dangerous projects and makes toys for her which she loves.
Episode 3 Clara and Odette are happy to see Vaggie and Charlie while delivering Pentious order. Lili is happy to see her aunties Clara & Odette, running up to hug them. Before they leave they let Charlie and Vaggie know their mom wants to see them tmrw for an important private meeting. When they do the trust exercises Lili takes part as much as they can, saying that she really loves her moms before they both catch her during trust falls getting a hug from them. She’s also the only one who tried to catch nifty before Angel stopped her as they weighed too much.
When they leave and head to the club Angel tells her to keep her eyes closed, the windows and doors locked, with Charlie telling her to scream if she needs help. She also stays in the limo when they head to the roof top exercise and asks Charlie where mama is, she just tells Lili she needed a minute. When Vaggie gets home Lili runs over to her and gets picked up into a hug. After seeing her strategy worked to get the residents closer, when they finish with Al they head to bed with Charlie to get some sleep.
The next day Carmilla reveals that she killed the exorcist to Charlie and Vaggie, which they realise that’s likely why the extermination was moved up and the fact angellic steel is all you need shocks them both. Carmilla believes their hotel will likely be a prime target so out of love for Vaggie and Lili she offers to secretly supply them with a large amount of angelic weapons. Charlie wants to turn it down but realising how useful it could be they agree. They transport it when everyone will either be out or sleeping and store it in the hotels basement. Carmilla also begins teaching Vaggie how to fight and kill exorcists just in case, the extra time and training allowing refine her technique.
In Episode 4 Lili is with one of her aunts or uncles so isn’t around for the show or tell or Charlie leaving then returning from Vals studio. When she gets home she just sees mommy is upset. After husk fights with Angel and he’s leaving the spider accidentally bumps her causing her to spill her juice on his shoes. As he’s angry and exhausted he screams at her to watch were she’s “fucking going!!”, before slamming the door on his way out. Lili of course breaks down crying not understanding why Angel is so mad at her, her moms of course rush over to calm her down. They understand Angel is upset but in that moment want to kill him for upsetting their baby. They send husk to bring him back.
When they get back after forgiving Charlie for the mess at Val’s she makes it known he really upset Lili and he needs to apologise. He agrees, though Charlie also adds that if he ever makes her baby cry again she’ll crush him like any other bug. Angel is of course terrified. He finds Lili in her room after she wakes up and apologises for yelling at her, that he was in a bad mood and she didn’t deserve that. Being Charlie’s daughter she forgives him. To make it up to her they have a fashion show in the lobby that makes everyone smile. Lili also hugs husk thanking him for bringing Angel home,” the old cat tells her it was nothing and starts becoming fond of the kid more than he already was.
In 5 thanks to them having a better relationship through Lili Charlie is less reluctant to call Lucifer. He’s very happy to see his daughter & granddaughter plus his future daughter-in-law which makes Vaggie blush. Al tries his best to get under lucifers skin with the father angle but it doesn’t work as well as now that they’ve reconciled and started repairing their bond. Lili also plays a role in getting lucifer to agree in asking if sinners are all bad then does that mean she is since sinners are just dead people. That makes Lucifer rethink things even more and after their song agrees to set up the meeting, along with trying to see the good in sinners again.
Lili is going to stay with Lucifer till they get back as he wanted to have some time with her. When Cherri arrives it’s Lili who gets her spare bimb before Vaggie throws it away.
When they get to heaven Vaggie sticks to Charlie to protect her as she knows she’s an angel. In heaven they talk with Emily before the trial though mostly about their daughter Lili which the seraphim loves to hear about.
At the trial Vaggie is more involved and they use how Angel interacts with their daughter as proof he can redeemed as even before he and to the hotel he was nothing but kind and sweet to her which does win over a few, though Adam decides to be homophobic by claiming he probably just wanted to touch her. This gets him disgusted looks from everyone especially Sera while Charlie and Vaggie are just holding themselves back from leaping across the room to tear him apart. Adam tries to personally attack Charlie by pointing out she murdered Lili’s birth parents and destroyed their souls, which Charlie points out was cause they gave her their baby as a sacrifice and if they did that they would’ve done worse, which no one disagrees with.
When the exterminations are exposed Vaggie reveals her past. That she was born in heaven in 1800 and enlisted in the exorcists at 18 as they were told they were protecting heaven. Even though she became disillusioned quickly she stayed cause of the loyalty to her sisters. Though she then reveals the one time she did show mercy Lute gouged out her eye and would’ve done more unless she kicked her away all for sparing a cannibal child. This does even more damage though Sera still votes against redemption and Adam promises along with going after the hotel he’s going after their little brat, terrifying and enraging Charlie and Vaggie. Back at the hotel they head to Lucifers and after discovering Lili is okay they hug her crying. Lucifer is enraged after they tell him what Adam said as if he does that then he’ll kill every exorcist and and the First Man the second they enter hell.
In 7 Charlie and Vaggie reveal Carmilla killing an angel which annoys Al as he hoped to use that to make a deal. They also reveal Carmilla gave them the weapons they need months ago and they hid it just in case.
Now they need allies. Charlie brings up Rosie as they’re close and the cannibals like them especially since Vaggie let that kid go so they might be willing to fight with them. Al is annoyed at another lost opportunity to make a deal, though he salvages it as if he can help them he can increase his influence on Charlie. They leave the others to leave or stay if they wish. They also send Lili to stay with lucifer till after the extermination to keep her safe but promise to visit.
At cannibal town Rosie is willing to help but she needs to convince the rest of the Cannibals, including Susan. Charlie and Vaggie cringe as they have had encounters with her none of which were pleasant. Though thanks to their connection to Cannibal town, Vaggie letting one of their own go and Charlie being more focused/confident she’s able to convince them the first time round to help. They also return to see the other hotel staff/patrons have started to fortify the hotel much to their gratitude. Lili is at Lucifers unhappy she has to be away but her grandpa promises to take her mind if it by doing some magic tricks for her, teach her some magic and take her flying, which does improve her mood.
In episode 8 Al and Nifty are talking, admitting they’ve become fond of the people at the hotel especially Lili whose actually started liking Al along with liking Niftys roach shows. After the last drinks at the bar Charlie heads up and Vaggie finds her crying outside Angels door looking at the pictures which include Lili in several. Vaggie starts to sing about how she’s done so much good, made everyone at the hotels lives better. How thanks to saving both her and Lili they were able to have not only better lives but a family. Charlie joins in and profess their love before kissing.
The battle at the hotel goes like in the show except Vaggie is better practised in fighting so does better and Charlie along with being more skilled at magic and fighting is using her pitchfork plus more lethal spells, they threatened her baby she’s got no mercy for them. Strangely Lute is absent. After Adam beats Al he reveals Lutes kidnapped Lili and appears holding her with a sword at her throat. Adam orders them to stop or he’ll have Lute cut their daughter’s throat. This is around when Pentious gets to attack him to rescue Lili, even though Adam one shots him it distracts Lute long enough for Lili to escape by biting her arm. This results in her dropping Lili.
Vaggie brings out her wings , Charlie hops on Razzle with Dazzle in dragon form to catch her. Vaggie catches Lili and tells Dazzle to take her back to the palace. Lute ambushes Vaggie and smashes her into the lobby while Adam knocks Charlie off Razzle and throws her onto the roof.
In the lobby Vaggie is on an even field as Lute and after a feint removes her right arm below the elbow. She then proceeds to beat her to a pulp for threatening her daughter only stopping when she hears Charlie scream. Charlie thanks to her dad and Vaggies training is doing much better against Adam as she’s using her magic and trident to put him on the ropes. When he grabs her by the neck she headbutts him hard enough to break his smack which is when Lucifer appears to punch him through the roof. Unlike in the show Lucifer is much more enraged as not only did Adam threaten his daughter but granddaughter as well, he’s gonna die.
Charlie and Lucifer tag team Adam, beating the ever living hell out of him, he uses a light blast to push them back while also destroying the hotel. Vaggie saves Charlie, who like in the show catches Adam’s fist and throws him hard enough to create a crater. Unlike the show she has no mercy for him. Adam blasts at her when she comes for him but it’s actually an illusion and he turns too late as Charlie shoves her pitchfork through his throat, impaling him before she throws him to the ground letting him choke for threatening her little girl. Lute sees Adams body and after a minor freak out gets told to GTFO out of hell by lucifer she grabs his halo and leaves with the rest of the exorcists.
After seeing the damage and fully processing Pentious is dead Charlie is depressed before her dad, Vaggie and the rest of the hotel help to cheer her up again. After making sure Lili is ok they begin rebuilding the hotel. Lili is of course heartbroken Pentious died to save her but her family help her grieve. She lays flowers in front of his portrait as a sort of thank you and promises to keep it up every day. Despite their losses the Morningstar’s and the hotel are emboldened by their victory so are hopeful for the future plus Lucifer giving his full support to the hotel. Charlie also gets a lot more respect for killing Adam and stopping the exorcists.
In heaven Lute reveals Adam’s death to Lilith and the end of their deal. She also reveals she’s got a new granddaughter cause her brat adopted one. Lilith along with being happy to finally return home to her family is both shocked and happy to hear she’s a grandmother.
