It's better to make peace with the fact that some things in this world are simply unbelievable, and ask how those things you don't believe work instead of denying their existence. There's a reason I've compiled a whole website regarding my physical transformation experiences.

You can't just go "you physically look like a human so you must be one." With that logic, all otherkin regardless of physical identity are entirely 100% human and "otherkin" as a label is pointless. I bet you wouldn't be like this towards someone with a spiritual identity!

You’re not listening to what I’m saying if your interpretation was that I’d go out of my way to disrespect anyone’s identity. For some people the explanation of how is delusion and I fully accept that I’m okay with that. I’ve seen no “how” from anyone else.

I “wouldn’t be like this about a spiritual identity” because spirituality is non-physical. It’s a belief it’s in the brain. If someone had a spiritual belief that they’re literally god and have god powers then I feel the exact same way about it because they can identify that way but they don’t literally have powers at very least not right now in this reality. It’s the same exact take I don’t care if they’re spiritual if they’re claiming something that’s just inaccurate to the current moment.

It’ll be like, maybe you identify somehow from another universe/reality/timeline/lifetime whatever maybe you don’t even really believe in it but you feel like you have connections like maybe you’re fictionkin or OCkin or something like that and you know how people have memories/connections to mediamates? It’s like that but for pets/familiars.

So maybe one feels like they had a bear pet/familiar in their other reality and they have that connection to bears, they don’t identify as a bear or anything they just feel like they had or should have a pet bear

And it can apply to mythical animals too like griffins/gryphins and unicorns etc

Xenocompanion

Meaning; you feel like you had or should have a specific species or individual creature as a companion

This can be in the form of a familiar or for those who can participate in closed practices such as spirit animals or guides it can mean those if the individual so chooses to lable it as such.

This can also be something like a patronus (don’t support jkr but for like fictionkins or fictives of the media itself), daemons from “The Golden Compass” and it’s series, or simply just feeling like you had/will have/should have a particular companion animal

This can be used for real species or animals too but I do not condone the use of this to harass real people such as pet content creators that you feel like their pet is your xenocompanion- (obviously you can’t control your feelings but don’t use this for validating any form of harassment)

Before I start I want to make it clear that this is a Male Alpha and Male omega romance with sex scenes in it. So if you’re under 18 don’t try to buy it (because of the sex).

Before we proceed, I wanna make it clear I’ve only read the first volume in its entirety. That being said, while my own personal interpretation of how the dynamics work in my brain is different than the mangaka’s I do respect it. I think the Alpha is really sweet. The gimmick behind it is funny and reminds me of how my Mate is basically scent blind except for me. Also the omega pulls some absolute power moves in a few panels and we love that for him.

Regardless, I more wanted to dias the word about this for other adult misce people who want to investigate omegaverse media that’s not just like strictly fan fiction. As far as I’m aware this is an entirely original story and the translation is surprisingly good.

CIRNATURA: a term for individuals who implement the fictional trope of the omegaverse, be that the dynamics, habits, behaviours etc, into their identity and lifestyle

- I have implemented omegaverse into my lifestyle for a long time, since I was a pre-teen. finding the miscecanis community made me feel so incredibly seen and I’m very grateful for the experience I’ve had there. however, I have a lot of current anxiety posting about my experiences with it and for the sake of avoiding any harm to anyone and myself, I’m coining cirnatura for myself and some friends. I don’t expect it will pick up like miscecanis has as a term but that’s okay, I want to make it clear this doesn’t exist to replace/recoin or stand against miscecanis in any way. I wish no ill-will to the coiner.

- anyone in the world is welcome to use cirnatura. you can be a miscecanid and also use cirnatura if you want. I don’t want my own ideologies attached to my terms and you are welcome to disagree with me on discourse and still use them. people could be cirnatura for any reason, alterhumanity plurality neurodivergency or just because whaaatever the world is your oyster

rorynx/alpha — rorynxes are elegant and charismatic. they may express their dominance through physical aggression, but often choose to show it through more passive manners which still convey a commanding presence.

felei/beta — feleis are loyal and keen to explore. they may come off as aloof yet loyal to a select few and show a mixture of the charisma and protectiveness of rorynxes and puroids.

puroid/omega — puroids can come off as soft, but are also fiercely protective if need be. they have close bonds with those they trust the most, often a small sub-group within a colony.

behaviours — within a miscefelis colony, members are not as socially connected as a miscecanis pack, and as such, more time is spent in solitude; this does not mean members of a colony do not value and/or rely on each other. in a colony, there may be a central group with smaller, sparser groups around the periphery.

coiner's note: if your miscefelis experience doesn't align with these, that's fine! this is my personal experience, but i'm also trying to provide terminology to others that need it :)

AUCTOVERSE: an umbrella term for anything that affects ones verse, but is not the basis, or does not affect it significantly enough to be considered a misceverse term

examples of ways it can be used:

miscelupus and auctofelis: a verse based on wolf-like behaviours/beings but in some way influenced by cat-like behaviours e.g meow subvocals

auctoundead: a verse that is not based/originating from behaviours of the undead, but the dynamics of the beings within the verse are affected by them being undead

the sun/star combo is meant to mimic the moon/star symbol in the miscecanis flag
