i honestly think me having the same disability as the character i identify as kinda led me to becoming that character????? i have pretty severe panic disorder and seeing holden ford in mindhunter go through what i go through every day kinda did something to me and i feel like i can relate to him in ways that i cant relate to other characters in media because i havent seen another piece of media portray a panic attack as well as mindhunter did. not to mention i found mindhunter almost immediately after i got out of the hospital and ive stuck with it ever since it really helped me get through some shit in my life
