Okay please give me any of your (controversial/unpopular) ACOTAR opinions. Can be about ANYTHING. I’m curious to different point of views 👀

Okay guys PLEASE help. Sarah J. Maas just announced ACOTAR 6 is on its way. But I’m still a little lost on what reading order I should follow.
So I’m almost starting with ACOSF and I saw people say you should read Crescent City before ACOTAR 6. Now I was already planning on reading CC immediately after ACOTAR, because I’ve read that CC (especially 3 book) has a huge crossover with ACOTAR. So I got the impression that it’s better to read CC directly after ACOTAR so the events are still fresh in your mind for the crossover. I always thought Throne of Glass could be read as a stand alone. I haven’t read TOG yet, but now with the ACOTAR 6 announcement so many people say you should read TOG after ACOTAR and then CC last (all before ACOTAR 6 comes out). But I’m scared that if I read TOG after ACOTAR, I’ll forget a lot of what happened in ACOTAR once I start CC since the entire serie of TOG would be in between. What do I do 😭😭😭
So do any of you have experience with reading ACOTAR —> TOG —> CC? Did you struggle remembering what happened in ACOTAR once you started CC since the whole serie of TOG is in between? What order do you recommend?

So it has been years since I have abandoned this account. Tumblr as a whole actually. People who still follow this page are probably going to think “who the fuck is this?” when they see this post, or perhaps no one will see this at all. Understandable. I don’t exactly remember when I quit this account, but it has been at least 2,5 years. I used to post about Shawn Mendes. At the time he was my temporary hyper fixation, but I grew out of it (thank God omg). My hyper fixations tend to…. Get out of hand and completely consume me.
There’s a lot that I don’t miss about being in a community. However, there are also a lot of things I miss about being in a community. Which is sharing thoughts, connecting, sharing “oh my god I’m not alone in this” moments, maybe even make new friends along the way.
Recently I have discovered the world of fantasy books and series. At the moment I’m reading the ACOTAR series and im waiting for the new season of House Of The Dragon to come out. With ACOTAR I’m in ACOFAS right now. I plan on reading many more fantasy books in the future. I have some friends in real life that read the series too, but I have noticed I can’t really spar with them about moments in the books. Either because they don’t look at it so critically because of lack of actual interest or because they have read the series a long time ago and forgot most of it. I miss discussing theories and opinions. So I thought, what better place to turn to than Tumblr? I have no idea if my current followers care or want to be a part of this, but you’re free to unfollow anytime if this isn’t your niche. For other people (old and new): I would love to hear your thoughts, (unpopular) opinions, theories, (least) favorite characters etc. I don’t expect to get any replies on this, but just in case, my asks are always open, please don’t hesitate to say hi and drop whatever you like :)
Thank you 🩷
