Fake dating x enemies to lovers trope: A is a famous actor/actress who gets caught up in scandal one day, with rumours claiming that he/she is gay / sugaring minors etc (something controversial). Cue B, who is a (poor rookie) lawyer part of the law firm that represents A's agency. But it just so happens that B has crossed paths with A already, though they aren't on good terms over something petty. However, A is always seen with B due to work. To mitigate the situation, A's agency drafts up a dating contract, convincing B to take it up for the obscene monetary reward.

Fake dating x forced roommate trope: A's landlord informs them they their new roommate, B, will be moving in soon. To A's surprise, B turns out to be her high school best friend, whom they have lost contact with all these years since graduating. To make matters even more frenzied, A's ex is back in town, trying to get back together with them. Desperate to ward off A's ex from causing further emotional wreckage, A and B embark on 3 weeks of fake dating, given the already perfect set up of roommates. Only that those 3 weeks might just be the catalyst for something more.

Fake dating x exes to lovers trope: It is the holiday season and A goes back to visit her family house. It all seems like routine to them, until A realises that their entire family has no clue that they are no longer together with B. Unbeknownst to A, A's mother had already invited B to their annual holiday family gathering; much to A's surprise, B actually shows up. They spend the week walking on eggshells around each other, and simultaneously pretending to still be in love in front of A's family. Will this one week reignite the spark between them?

Fake dating x wedding meet cute: When A gets an invitation to attend her university friend's wedding, they know that they will be bombarded by millions of invasive questions (from those judgmental acquaintances) around work, family and the most dreaded of all, their love life. A bites the bullet, however, given that it's a good friend's wedding. To A's surprise, they meet B, an old university crush at the wedding venue, who senses A's uneasiness. B boldly suggests that they act as A's partner just to spite those nasty 'friends' of A's. Could this lead to them catching feelings for each other?

Florist x Tattoo artist

When the tattoo artist hits a complete creative block, his last hope becomes the flower shop across the street. Little do they know they'll get much more inspiration from the sweet florist than from flowers.

A former tattoo artist getting hired into their local flower shop as a helping hand. The florist can't stop staring in awe at the intricate ink lines curling around the other's biceps every time they pick something up.

A really shy florist coming into the tattoo parlour next to their workplace to get their first tattoo.

Switching things up: A shy tattoo artist coming into the flower shop to buy flowers for their relative/themselves, surprising the florist with their knowledge of flowers.

A tattoo artist finding a soul mate in the nearby flower shop, where they can fully indulge in conversations about flowers and gardening with the pretty florist. And so what they aren't coming to the flower shop just for the flowers anymore?

Being very tall and bulky, the florist has a difficult time convincing the customers they aren't scary and that they know what they're talking about in terms of flowers. Things change for the better when an artist from a nearby tattoo parlour who can't seem to keep quiet comes to buy some flowers.

A and B compete over who is/would be the better person of honor.

Person of honor A struggles to keep a smile on their face when they see person of honor B, who they have feelings for, come to the wedding/rehearsal dinner/etc. with C as their date.

When A and B ask C if they could be A’s person of honor, C didn’t expect for them to pick their ex/childhood rival/etc. as B’s person of honor. (They really hoped they wouldn’t have to see them again.)

A and B both know that the couple shouldn’t get married. Is it their duty as people of honor to do something about that?

Strangers A and B suddenly find themselves being the people of honor for a couple they’ve just met. Is it a case of right time, right place? Or will this turn into the worst experience of A’s life?

The couple’s people of honor don’t like each other. And yet, A is always there to help B during the pre-wedding events/to correct B’s mistake (e.g. when they almost forgot to bring the rings) without judging them/etc.

A and B are aware that making the two of them the couple’s people of honor is their attempt of matchmaking them.

Everybody around them puts person of honor A under a lot of pressure to find someone soon too. Person of honor B makes sure they are okay/fakes being their partner.

Person of honor A plans most of the pre-wedding events by themselves but person of honor B is the one who publicly takes credit for it.

The speech A makes seems to be more about the person of honor than the married couple/their new spouse.

People of honor A and B have known each other for a long time and never before considered the other as a potential partner for themselves. Yet, something about this wedding makes them look at the other in a different way.  

Person of honor A discovers that person of honor B only accepted this position to be able to sabotage the couple/finally get even with marrier C/etc.

Person of honor A struggles to be/act composed when walking down the aisle with person of honor B, their last encounter too fresh on their mind.

Person of honor A learns something about one of the marriers that could ruin their relationship/bring the engagement and with it the wedding to a stop. (They decide to confide in person of honor B.)

People of honor A and B steal the newlyweds’ thunder when unexpectedly kissing on the dance floor/with an announcement of their own/etc.

A and B have been together for some time now. Embracing the role of people of honor, they/one of them realize(s) something that might change their own relationship dynamic/status.

The bitter truth is: Person of honor A/People of honor A and B is/both are hopelessly in love with someone of the soon to be married couple.

1. Despite the interview being scheduled as a tell-all, the journalist is surprised when the celebrity breaks down in front of them.

2. The journalist is extremely nervous during the interview and the celebrity makes sure they are okay, instilling confidence in them.

3. One of the journalists the celebrity meets turns out to be someone from their past.

4. The journalist doesn’t know much about/doesn’t like the celebrity but is still obligated to do an interview with them.

5. The celebrity desperately wants to trust the journalist but is not sure they can.

Ah, one of my favourite flavours of hurt/comfort.

Getting hurt

B thinks the pinnacle of a 'grand romantic gesture' would be someone catching a bullet for them. However, as they cradle bleeding, just-shot A in their arms, they realise there's nothing romantic about it.

A ignores B's warnings to not climb the clearly dead tree branch.

A is taken for interrogation for something they may or may not have committed. B can just helplessly watch the definitely-not-standard interrogation unfold.

A is taken as leverage against B. And while B is determined not to say a word, they're not sure how long they'll be able to withstand seeing A in pain.

A and B are finally reuniting after a long time apart, the only thing standing between them now being a single road. However, in their excitement, A forgot to check for cars before rushing across the road.

A and B cooking dinner together when the knife A is using slips and cuts right through A's hand.

Muses A and B go undercover in a suburb as a married couple
