Iâve been thinking... letâs talk about a plot thatâs so modern it hurts. So real and raw. wb a pairing where two (or more) people are barely getting by day to day? Listen to me here though. These people are struggling through life (and it wonât always be easy cue angst) maybe one is on the verge of losing their job or theyâre both unemployed but they still look for gigs here and there. They donât know what tomorrow will look like, where theyâll sleep, but they plot and plan together and somehow find a way last minute each and every time. They save every dime and penny for food and shelter, sometimes they donât even know if theyâll have enough but they know they have each other and theyâre each otherâs anchors and hope when theyâre about to give up. Theyâre the real definition of ride or die, Bonnie & Clyde. Theyâre two (or more!) real people struggling to make it but theyâre struggling together.
Bonus: one day, they find success and can look back together (or apart) ((multiple threads can be used!)) and they canât believe they made it out of the struggle. (If theyâre apart, they reunite and canât help but feel attached to each other and are so proud of where they are)Â
concept:
i went to your concert/convention and iâm a smol bean who got hurt - someone pushed or shoved me. maybe your security but i canât remember bc it all happened too fast and i got a small cut but that doesnât matter because you/your band came to help me and you touched my arm. you gave me a pokemon bandage and iâm fine, really. i didnât pass out, surprisingly. i go home and iâm fine but my parents make a big deal out of it and now they want to build a case against you. did i mention that my parents are attorneys? so now i have to get them not to embarrass me by building a case against you in public but wait.. we get to see each other a lot at case trials. you give me your number in hopes that we can solve this privately. we even meet up one night because you have free time but my parents donât know. you give me the night of my life (because your pr/management told you to do so in order to avert the case) but feelings develop and we start getting romantically involved. your ex celeb gf tells me the truth behind your kindness and i know that i shouldnât testify against you but now iâm hurt and feel lied to/used so i have to choose whether i let my parents have their way or listen to your pleads to not testify against you because youâre really sorry and iâm so torn. k go.Â
this has probably been done before but how about a plot where a fan meets a celeb and they take a selfie together. he posts it on instagram and realizes he doesnât have her sn so he sets the description as âft this pretty faceâ and her friends freak out when they see the photo. mind you, she doesnât have insta so her friends make her make an acc. she does and her friends tag her and he follows her.
they donât communicate for a long while and then suddenly one day heâs got a free day and heâs going through his feed and he sees a photo of her. he likes it and she believes it was a mistake until he comments on the photo and they finally start to DM but.. heâs in a relationship with another celeb and she tells him that sheâs not going to pursue any feelings because heâs taken and heâs all, âso you have feelings for me too? ;)â and the angst and confusion and sneaking around dates once he tells her the relationship with his gf is for pr only.

Concept: two friends (m/f, m/m or f/f) they work at a hotel. And they get into all kinds of shenanigans together. Stay in empty suites together. They use the pool during after hours. The boss is out on business trips most of the time so they are in charge of keeping things in order when really all theyâre doing is basically living for free and meeting people who stay the night/weekend/or however long. Just crazy fun that sometimes lands them in trouble (they witness things that they wish they hadnât)(they find money to go out on fancy dates)(they meet people of all kinds)
Bonus:they might have a crush on each other and during their adventures, these crushes only grown with time.

muse a purchases a new home and it has an attic. in the attic they discover a photograph of someone. muse looks at the frame of the photograph and it has a letter. The letter states âyou found it, it was meant for you and you must read this aloudâ or something like that. Your muse thinks itâs crazy and says theyâre not doing it.. but they read it in their mind and that was enough to make the chant on the letter work and do its thing. when muse a wakes up the next day, the person in the photo (muse b) is sleeping beside them ready to thank muse a for freeing them. Â
muse a and b meet during open mic night when they both play their own solos. muse a is getting over the love of his/her life leaving and muse b is great at walking away from things before they get bad and messy. muse a is captivated by muse b and feels like they can connect based on what muse b played because itâs basically muse aâs current situation. they share a drink, exchange numbers, hang out, and they decide to write a song together when muse b wants to help muse a make a song.Â
they make a duet and muse b starts falling for muse a but assumes that muse a is not over their ex. muse b leaves before they can become anything and before their feelings grow.Â
their collaboration is released as a single as a plan to get muse b to come back. thereâs angst and fluff and smut and cliches that are ok because why not. can be personalized and changed however you want.Â
muse a and b are complete strangers but meet up when they find out their significant others are having an affair while married to a and b so they decide to steak out to catch their s/o in the act. muse a is reluctant but muse b convinces them anyway. muse a decides that they can only prepare for this by bringing a bottle of wine and drinking to help them for what they are about to witness. they do the steak out, drink while they wait and conversations become flirting and flirting becomes a kiss and suddenly they are hooking up out of spite towards the situation because why not. but.... they actually enjoy it and decide to make their hook ups casual and soon they might actually start to catch feelings????
how about the cliche (but can be personalized) your family took me in because my parents canât take care of me and i hate the idea so i try to do everything possible to get kicked out and i start to flirt with you and seduce you out of spite but you respond really well and youâre really cute so we kinda get too comfortable and one day your parents find out and they give us an ultimatum that either we stop whatever it is we have or i have to go and.. i kinda like it here so letâs stop. but wait... we donât want to end what we have, do we?Â

neighbors muse a & b are always at war over the washer and dryer in their condos and muse b accidentally takes muse aâs bra in his clothes. he and his gf were already having problems and she wouldnât leave and used him for his place and money. the gf found muse aâs bra and asks whoâs bra it is. thereâs a knock on the door and muse a is all âyou have my bra. can i have it back? i know that you have it.. bc i accidentally ended up with your underwear tooâÂ
bonus: muse a and the (ex)gf are enemies for whatever reason and muse a actually has a secret crush on b but whatever
muse a & b are neighbors. a is a single parent (for whatever reason) and b just wants sleep. b goes over to aâs house (next door or across the hall) and they offer a help bc they have a nephew/niece and know this stuff. a is skeptic about it all but gives in anyway due to exhaustion. muse b holds the child and a watches them to make sure b isnât kidnapping their baby or something, b notices and says itâs fine. muse b convinces muse a to shower or something. an hour later muse a wakes up from an accidental nap and muse b is sleeping with child. muse a wonât wake b up so the child doesnât wake up but also because b actually looks really peaceful.Â
muse a asks b if they can babysit later because they need an extra shift at work and b isnât so sure but does anyway as long as that means keeping the child quiet. but b and child end up getting along and bonding (depending on age)Â
bonus: someone sees muse b with child and assumes they are dating and they should totally come over together with the child. one of those âoh nonsense, youâre not a burden. youâre coming over for diner and itâs final. see you laterâ type of invites.Â

how about a plot based on muse a and b who have only met in their dreams? they both walked by a strange lady who tapped their shoulders, at different times and in different places, and they meet and can see each other only when theyâre asleep and dreaming. there are moments where they are the only people who can cheer each other up. times where no one in their âawakeâ life understand what they are feeling. frustrations over work becomes laughter between the two. they go to each other for advice. and as time passes, they start to feel for each other. one day one of the two doesnât show up and the other feels incomplete without having them there to talk about their day which makes them realize just how fond theyâre grown of each other. they have to figure out if they want to follow these strange dreams, if they are real, and what they want to do about it. bonus, one of the muses is in a relationship at the moment of their first âmeetingâ just bc angstÂ
muse a and muse b are randoms who get stuck in an elevator. muse a is a grumpy shit and muse b is a nervous wreck but when they start going into a panic attack, muse a tries to calm muse b down with everything that they can think of. when all fails, muse a kisses muse b and the kiss is off guard but it helps because it confuses muse b so much so thereâs angst and tension and âwhy did you kiss me?â âyou kissed me back?â âyeah but.. wow your lips are softâ âand ur a good kisserâ they make out some more and it can be smut and the the elevator doors open and they both go the same way. muse a says theyâre late to a possible hire interview, muse b is like âi have an interview tooâ and you can guess that muse b turns out to be the one muse a is interviewing and muse a is all âhiring means i can see you againâ and itâs cliche but who cares
