Today has been a good day.

Asher finished the song, breathing slowly and too nervous to look up at Starshine. He wasn’t sure if he had sung it good or if he had been off pitch the whole time and didn’t notice. Thoughts of negativity flew around his mind before he even had the chance to hear what she had to say what she thought about it. Brushing his hair around with his fingers, he finally grabbed enough courage to glance back over at her “I-uh, I’m sorry if it was a little rough.” he spoke in a soft tone “I’m a little-” Asher cut off his sentence when she kissed him on the corner of his mouth “Nervous.” he finished, dragging out the sounds slowly.

The blonde chewed on her lower lips, glancing down and feeling a faint flush make its way up her neck. He was nervous and that had to be one of the most adorable things she'd ever seen. Asher was just really cute and his smile made her smile. When he stood up, she snuck a peek at him, her eyes meeting his as he asked her a question. His voice was low, soft, and she almost couldn't hear him, but they were now standing so close together that she could make out his words. Starshine nodded, suddenly feeling very shy, but not sure why. 

I know, right? They're just so freeing.
