A New Constellation - TMNT 2012
Lee: Amira (OC)
Ler: Donnie, Mikey
What the turtles didn't know up until today is that Amira, who got mutated a day ago, has freckles all over her soft midriff. They learned that freckles aren't really common in humans, but they're possible to have. It seems like Mikey isn't the only one with freckles, apparently.

It's the present day. Amira is sitting in the splits in her silks, in the middle of the dojo, meditating, trying to focus and keep relaxed while whispering a mantra. Master Splinter had told her that her type of mutation was unlike any other one, that the mutagen had given her some ancient-like abilities that nobody can manage to develop. Even he couldn't do it, and he was the one who healed Raph, Mikey, Donnie, Casey, and April of the venom Karai produced when she was back under Shredder's control, with Leo's help to heal them.
The other turtles were meditating as well, two sitting on their knees on each side of her silks. Mikey and Donnie were on the left, Leo and Raph were on the right, each of them breathing serenely... for the most part. Raph suddenly grunted in slight frustration, seemingly not being able to focus and relax from his usual temper. He opened his eyes and turned to face his brothers.
"I'm tired of sitting on my butt, doing nothing for God-knows-how-long," the turtle in red complained.
Leo sighed the "I'm done with this" sigh, and turned to Raph, stating dryly, "It's called 'discipline', which you clearly lack." Mikey had to hold back his giggles as his brother fumed.
"Oh, I'm sorry that I have more important things to do than sit on my 'turtley-tush' and be a damn 'meditation-ninja-robot-zombie-thing'. Training is boring as shell, and you can't convince me otherwise, Leo."
Amira held back some chortles of her own as she heard the first word Raph decided to quote. Like, 'turtley-tush'? "W-What...?" she managed to get out. Mikey, however, finally cracked and burst into full-blown laughter, flopping back onto his shell, holding his stomach while kicking his legs. Donnie was groaning in secondhand embarrassment now, Leo had to fight a smirk, and Raph, realizing what he just said, just froze as his face turned nuclear red. Then—
"DON'T SAY IT AGAIN—" he pointed a finger at her.
"I-IT'S JUST THE WORD 'TUSH'! I CAN'T BREATHE!!" Mikey wheezed as tears ran down his face.
Amira was suddenly struggling so hard to hold back her giggles that she came down from her splits position, now just holding onto her silks for dear life so she wouldn't topple over. "H-Holy shell—h-he-he said—" she couldn't finish as she snorted and doubled over with laughter. The turtles always found it adorable whenever their little sister snorted like that. Mikey couldn't help himself that time. He immediately pounced on her, squeezing her tummy with zero hesitation and a giddy smile.
Raph is now absolutely red-faced and yelling something incoherent about "shutting up," Donnie is wheezing in a mix of amusement and secondhand embarrassment, and Leo—despite his usual stoicism—has to physically turn away to hide the fact that he's also snickering.
"I HATE ALL OF YOU!" (he doesn't mean it)
"A-Amira's snort sounds like a tiny pterodactyl! I love it!" Donnie smiled with stars in his eyes
Amira, meanwhile, squeaked and immediately burst into giggles as soon as Mikey started to squeeze her pale, soft, squishy belly. "Mihihikey, stahahahap!!" The blue scales on her arms and the left of her face started to flash, most likely a sign that she was enjoying the tickles. Mikey was now grinning wildly as he continued to tickle her, absolutely delighted with the response. Donnie was now holding his breath—trying so hard not to lose it at her giggling. Leo... was just watching the whole thing from the corner of his eye, that same barely-there hint of a smile playing at the corner of his lips.
"C'mon, snort again!" the orange-masked ninja encouraged
"Stahahaha—*snort*—gahahahaha, knock ihit ohohoff!!"
She suddenly squealed as he started blowing raspberries on her tummy, after rolling up the blouse of her black-and-turquoise ninja gi. "Mikeeeeeyyyy!! *hic* Eeeeeeeeeee!!" The freckles on her tummy were exposed to the cool air, and it seems that the blue dragon scales had spread to her midriff as well.
Mikey noticed her freckles, and immediately beamed. "You have... freckles on your tummy?!"
"I-I didn't think you'd notice!" Amira said while letting out a giggly laugh.
The other three turtles froze in shock and brotherly adoration as they noticed this detail about their human sister. Mikey's eyes went wide, his grin stretching even further as he poked at her stomach, fascinated by the freckles. Donnie leaned in slightly, looking intrigued—Leo was still trying (and failing) to act serious.
"They're like... tiny stars..." Donnie marveled. He leaned in closer. "Do they glow too?"
"N-No, idiot..." Amira giggled, then went on. "I was born w-with them, genes from my biological mother... i-it's not exactly common in humans to have freckles... but it's normal, that's for sure..."
Mikey was now just flat-out prodding her tummy, much to her amusement. Donnie was still watching with intense curiosity, his brain clearly working at maximum capacity. Even Leo was letting his interest show, now crouching down with a focused expression. Raph was trying (and failing) to hide his own curiosity behind an eye-roll.
"Fascinating... the distribution is almost like an actual star. I wonder if there's any correlation?" Donnie muttered it to himself more than anything, completely absorbed in his thoughts. He then got an idea, and took a pen out of seemingly nowhere. "I want to test this..."
"What's the pen for, Dee?" Amira questioned her sciencey brother.
Donnie gave her a slightly-mischievous smile—like he's got some kind of scientific experiment cooking up in his brain. "I want to do a... little experiment. For science," he answered while crouching to where she was laying on the floor.
Amira smiled with amusement, knowing what he meant by that.
"You're gonna find a constellation on my tummy."
"I'm hoping to, yeah. Now just hold still for a moment while I..."
He positioned the pen above her belly, preparing to start drawing. Leo, Raph, and Mikey are all watching curiously. Even Master Splinter opened an eye from where he was meditating in the dojo, seemingly curious himself, and slightly amused by his children. Amira squeaked as the pen point made contact right above her bellybutton.
Donnie was slowly starting to "connect the dots" of the natural freckles on his little sister's tummy, a small smile gracing his features. "Now let's see... this one needs to connect... and this one... and..." he went on muttering while drawing a pattern on her stomach, one that was slowly coming together to make sense. Amira was biting down on her fist to keep herself from laughing, or even giggling, and it's a bit hard to stay still as well when the touch is so light. Her toes are curling under the footie fabric of her gi. Oh please hurry up...
"Just one more... and... there. Done!" Donnie smiled with satisfaction, while Amira sighed with relief.
Donnie grinned like a mad scientist who thinks he's just made a groundbreaking scientific discovery—which, in this case, he sorta did. Mikey was also grinning like a lunatic, clearly excited to see the result. Leo and Raph crowded around the three as well.
"A new... never-before-seen constellation..."
What was drawn on her tummy oddly like a turtle shell with a ninja mask on top of it. It looked beautiful to eye... Master Splinter was in awe as he walked up behind his sons. Amira and her turtle brothers smiled at the picture drawn over her freckles.
"It's... beautiful..." Leo remarked, almost breathlessly. Master Splinter nodded, looking at Donnie with a fatherly smile and proud gaze, hands behind his back. "My son... I do wish on your behalf that this will shine in the night sky one day..."
Donnie smiled at the rat master, and nodded slowly. "I hope so too, Sensei... I hope so too..."
"And me too." Amira smiled as she kept staring at her stomach.
It will shine one day, Donatello... we promise.

THIS TOOK SO LONG TO WRITE, OMG— but it was worth it. I hope you enjoyed that! Bye, my starbeams!
