I am pleased by people messaging me telling me that after adding a carb or protein to their snacks or meals they feel more satisfied all day. Yes, my plan is working. People are getting through their days with less hangry.

Thinking about that part in mystery incorporated where fred says "I'm not a guy anymore!" as a way of saying that he's accepting his emotions. thinking about how mystery inc fred is canonically autistic and some autistic people express themselves very openly which goes directly against masculine gender norms. thinking about how fred and his ascot throughout the scooby doo franchise have gone from innocuous to weapons against toxic masculinity. thinking about the overlap between gender non-conformity and autism. thinking about gender as a construct and expression of gender as a choice. thinking about fred jones

Mildly irritiating to me that the fandom doesn't seem to grasp that Pure Vanilla is spiraling and falling deep into a chasm of survivor's guilt that is only made worse by his savoir complex and instead seem to genuinely believe that he actually IS responsible for the decisions and actions that White Lily and Shadow Milk made. Lots of people seem to be missing the fact that he's so stuck in his head because of his grief and self loathing and trying to figure out what he could have done differently in order to save them that he's just not ready to accept that fact that nothing he could have said or done would have changed what White Lily or Shadow Milk chose to do for the better. They were both caught in their own pains and obsessions and refused to listen to anyone else and people pushing the idea that if Pure Vanilla had done this or that instead are incredibly demeaning towards all three characters and the complexities of their characters and individual suffering.
