alot of things would be different in this au, character wise at least. Shaggy and Scooby are practically the same but they both have increased anxiety and self esteem issues from when they ran away, so they're both just a tad co-dependant on the other.

Ricky would also change; he's more open, tries to be at least, Shaggy and Scoob really bring that out in him and it helps him to process some thingd better. He's also grown incredibly protective, knowing what he knows about the town, about Mayor Jones, about the treasure, he despreately wants to make sure Shaggy and Scooby never end up like he and his group did.

im not great at writing, i mainly just make ideas and draw them if i like them so idk if any of this makes sense but yeah, i like it at least
