Folks, we have made it to Friday yet again. I am so proud of all of us.

For Week 49, let's talk about weather. It's always sunny in Schitt's Creek, except when it's not. Do you know of any good fics where the weather plays a part? David loves a good thunderstorm so much he'll forego sleep to enjoy it in caught in the slightest wind by foxtails / @ratchet. And, well, that's about all the plot there is in this sexy fic, but I'm not complaining. It's quality content.

In keep you out of the rain by doingthemost / @sarahlevys Stevie has been hoping to connect with Ruth. Getting caught in a downpour wasn't the plan, but maybe this will work out anyway. I love Stevie's bravery and resolve, and how sweet and hot and fast this fic is.

A Little Rain Must Fall by houdini74 / @mostlyinthemorning also has a surprise caught-in-the-rain plot. David must have such awful timing, to keep finding himself in sudden showers on his way to work. Fortunately his business partner is good at things like helping him take soaked sweaters off. Unfortunately his business partner might be bad at taking a hint.

And I love the enemies-to-lovers AU Weathering the Storm by iola17 / @beaiola What's worse than a corporate retreat? How about a corporate retreat where you're trapped in a blizzard and forced to share a room with an annoying coworker? Poor David! I hope it works out for him.

The cleverly-named Total Power Failure by @meadowharvest4856 also features trapped coworkers! Patrick and David have just closed up the store when an electrical storm descends upon them and forces them to spend the night together. Luckily there are candles, fuzzy sweaters, and leftover wine. Oh, and perhaps a bit of awkward flirting . . . .
