Fic authors self rec! When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to at least five other writers. Let's spread the self-love 💗
Thank you for the ask! I’ve done this a few times, so I’m going to narrow the scope to just this year and only finished works. That way I can pull in some fresh blood. Let’s go! In no particular order.
1. of the language of flowers
Teen Wolf, no ship/Gen, Stiles-centric, Teen+, No archive warnings, 1816 words
"The problem," Stiles says with as much bitterness as he feels, which is a profound amount, "is that I trusted you to disclose vital information."
I made myself nearly cry while writing this, but I love it.
2. been dancin’ all around it
Teen Wolf, Chris Argent/Derek Hale/Peter Hale/Stiles Stilinski, General Audiences, No Archive Warnings, 306 words
“Those guys over there are watching you,” the bartender tells Stiles, her voice conspiratorial.
Just some fluff that I wrote after a long drought and am quite fond of. Written for @polyamships @fourormore bingo.
Teen Wolf, Chris Argent/Derek Hale/Stiles Stilinski, Explicit, No Archive Warnings, 1017 words
Derek is anticipating an awkward ride upstairs, possibly for Chris to change his mind. Instead, Chris swipes his card and hits the button for his floor, all without dropping his hold on Derek's wrist. Then, as soon as the doors close, he turns and tugs Derek forward, straight into a kiss. Stiles steps up behind him, a long line of heat at his back, arms coming around his waist.
A recursive work of that fade to black scene in the marvelous Running on All Fours Is a Valid Lifestyle by songfrog
I’m so obsessed with my AU5K gift from last year I wrote a missing scene for it. Very much a pwp.
Psy-Changeling - Nalini Singh, Aden Kai/Vasic Zen, Teen+, No Archive Warnings, 169 words
Vasic sits in the sand and stares at his hands. They're nominally clean, but he would swear he still feels blood on them.
A ficlet that I really love. There’s also a podfic here.
Black Jewels - Anne Bishop, Daemon Sadi/Lucivar Yaslana, Teen+, No Archive Warnings, 257 words
Lucivar knows something is, or at least was, terribly wrong when Daemon Sadi walks past him in the drawing room wearing a ring with a Red Jewel.
A @februaryficletchallenge fill, one of very few I got done this year. Also has a podfic here.
