For a one time (?) event

I like planning these movie quartets to fill a month with, but have gotten myself into the pickle of planning out too much and not having a lot of time to cover. So decisions need to be made! And what better way than to solve them via poll.

We have four contenders competing to be the basement of July.

Here are your candidates!

B(asement) movie!

It's not the cream of the crob, but it sure is entertaining! Movies without a serious focus, intentional or not. I have only seen Spice World of these before, but am very curious about Snakes on a Plane.

My friend might tag a "B-Sides" onto these screenings with short films!

De Kelder

It's all Dutch! But okay, these are good films. Depending on availability Oeroeg might be swapped for De Aanslag. I've seen two of these in full and if there is one that you definitely have to seen, it's Spoorloos (The Vanishing).

Oops! All Sequels!

Second time's the charm! Sequels that are at least on par and sometimes even better than the first installment. Knowledge of the first film isn't a requirement per se to enjoy these.

Hey there! For those that like a retro feel, I made an Ao3 site skin that resembles that OS. Everything should be okay to see for everyone in terms of icons. Big thanks to this css and this icons archive for the icons used. Whole thing is a bit big top paste in here, but you can find the doc via my website here.

I'm making a full dark-mode version of this, but that will be for later.

Basically build up from the Reversi skin. Since I didn't work with the default light-mode Ao3 for the Win98 Light Mode, that one may not be perfect with some of the text being in either a light or dark font color.

Dark Mode is better in text but I couldn't figure out a color palette for the header bars that both suited the dark mode of it and the win98 feel. Still, it's much better on the eyes at night, and that't the most important for me.

here's the guidelines for what counts as explicit (not mature, aka grounds for content deletion)

here's the section telling us that you will always be able to respond to content getting flagged as explicit (lie)

here's the section where it says you will be notified when your accunt gets terminated, and that the appeals are reviewed by humans (both lies)

and by the way, posting a single thing against ToS isn't supposed to be grounds for deletion, (this is what the termination email is warning you about)

sharing content without content labels isn't either
