Started a "new" playthrough with Castle today! The first time I played I had no thoughts for my rook XD so this time I have a plan. I have a character. I have a stupidly complicated head canon that I'm 100% willing to commit to.

I actually didn't know these scars existed until today XD I'm so happy. They look even more accurate to the art I drew!

My friends and I have a connected canon between us so none of us have a "Rook". All our Rooks have other chess piece names. Mine's Castle. And I love them so much.

I could honestly go on forever about all the thoughts I have for them XD I'll do it. I'd be HAPPY to lol

Hey fellow DAV brain rotters, I got thoughts about the tree people in Arlathan and a Veil Jumper Rook (like my enby)

I've got this head canon that the Veil Jumper Rook was friends with the people in Arlathan that were turned into trees. I saw these as being very new additions to the forest. Like a result of the ritual disruption that let the goddies out. (yay more guilt trauma for Rook). The sudden out pouring of magic that's destabilizing the magic in Arlathan is the same that wiped them all out.

But especially if it's a dalish elf Rook, it would be devastating if it was their former dalish clan. 100% civilians, not even veil jumpers.

And I have another thought that it would be sweet if they went to Emmrich to learn about different burial rites for different cultures. maybe they spend an afternoon or a couple days going around to all the tree people, Rook tells Emmrich their names, and they put flower crowns on all of them or somethin.
